Bien placé mais peut-être à éviter...

Hôtel très bien placé. Mais attention, pas de climatisation (je n'avais pas vu), et en été... Donc, obligation d'ouvrir la fenêtre sur la coursive, et ça peut être très très très bruyant en fonction des voisins. Par ailleurs, la chasse d'eau fonctionnait très mal, et impossible d'appeler la réception, 80% du temps, il n'y avait personne. La femme de ménage n'a pas nettoyé la chambre (attention, lit double composé de deux lits simples collés) lors de mon séjour. Petit déjeuner copieux mais moyen. Il y a beaucoup mieux pas très loin.

Dear Frederic, Thank you for being our guest. Yes, the hotel does not have AC as it is a historical building and such improvements are not allowed on this type of establishment. If AC was something that you really want you should have filtered your search when you where looking for your accommodation in Brasov. The hotel has a 24h reception and you just need to dial 600 from the phone in your room in order to get in touch with the staff at the reception. The phone listing shows you did not tried this not even once! In terms of cleaning, my colleagues explained to you that due to the pandemic situation we are trying to limit our contact with the guests so if you need to have your room cleaned you just need to hang the sign "Please make up my room" or to let the reception know. We know that your English was really bad but we did not imagine it was so bad that you did not understand this simple instructions. We advise you that next time read more carefully the description of the properties, pay more attention to the instruction given by the staff and maybe, just maybe, step up a bit on your level of English.

Very nice hotel! The style is a real throwback in time, and the view of the panoramic rooms is just incredible! The personal was incredibly helpful and tried all along our stay to accommodate us! Amazing breakfast too!

Bien situe mais beaucoup d’inconvénient

Je trouve la note de 9 exagéré. Il y a peut être des chambres très bien mais la mienne au rez de chaussé était petite même pas de table avec une chaise, sombre, bruyante en face du local du personnel de service et surtout un odeur de désinfectant sur le tapis insupportable j'ai du mettre le tapis dans la salle de bain. Sinon très bien situe en plein centre.

Dear Luc, Thank you for being our guest. Whenever you are having a bed experience in a hotel we encourage you to address to the reception staff or to the manager. We could have removed the carpet if it had a strange smell, we could've changed your room, we could've done so much to improve your stay if only we would've know about it. You kept everything for yourself, decided to give us a bad review but in the end this will not improve your experience in our hotel. We are sorry you did not had a pleasant stay we wish you told us while you where still in the hotel so we could make it a great experience. Regards,

Nice room in the historical centre. A bit dark though. Low wifi. No breakfast.

You have of course the option of ordering the breakfast on the spot but you failed to do that too. We are sorry that in the end you did had the experience that you expected. Very pleasant hotel and garden and very friendly and helpful staff, it is not directly in the old city but very close and easy walk. I would stay there anytime I return to the area.

This hotel is perfectly located, however, it is very unsafe for seniors or people with any special needs as there are uneven stairs, and the rooms are not well appointed. The breakfast was OK and stuff were friendly enough, yet the property only really deserves a three star due to these concerns. Regarding the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect.

Dear Pernille,The property is a 3 star property, I think you had the wrong idea we are a 4 star! Also, the property is located in a historical monument, a 175 years old one so some uneven stairs are to be expected. You can always inform us if you are a senior citizen and we can make the necessary arrangements to allocate a room on the ground floor but we think you are totally exaggerating when you are saying this property is unsafe for seniors. Yes, this property is not suitable for people with special needs nor we have ever advertised something similar but we think we can solve a lot of misunderstandings if you just... communicate with us in advance.
