The hotel is in a very central area with easy access to the mall and restaurants. I appreciated they accommodated me to an early check in around 1pm. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was not the greatest, in particular the bathtub. When I called to ask the housekeeper to come by and re-clean the tub, she came in very defensive and extremely rude. She kept saying that she cleaned and that the gunk would not come off because it was from wear and tear. In the end the supervisor provided me a rubber mat to place on top because I was not going to let my daughter or myself shower in that. I also complained about the housekeeper’s unprofessional attitude to the supervisor who was more understanding and saw why I was not ok with the conditions of the bathtub.

Room quality was poor but service was good

The service was fantastic and helpful. However the rooms have definitely seen better days. All of the faucets leaked, the bathtub was heavily stained and avoided use. the carpet was dirty, we got sick from the quality of air that was blowing out of the AC. The furniture was in poor shape. One piece was missing hardware while another was missing once full drawer.

Bathtub was so filthy, we did not shower. Paint was peeling off the doors, etc., especially in the bathroom. For a suite, it was really cramped. Breakfast was ice cold and the courtyard area was freezing! All in all, I would never stay there again.

We had an accessible room. What was (very) difficult was the bed! It was so low to the ground, as if it was missing the box spring. For an accessible room, standing up from the bed was NOT easy! We have stayed at this particular Embassy I think five times. We will be back but not in that room!

It was just an overnight stay for 3 adults. There were no extra towels in the room, and no shampoo 😔. But room/property was clean and we got a good night’s rest.

Room was in very bad condition. The stains on the couch were so bad that I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it without a blanket covering it, but the thing that really made me uncomfortable was somebody from the hotel came into my room at 5pm (unusual) while I was getting something from my car. When I asked for a ‘do not disturb’ (not provided) I was treated like it was my fault for getting a deluxe room, front desk defensive and unkind. We didn’t feel safe there, the windows aren’t real and only belong in a hospital in the 1960’s. Surreal. The plates from breakfast woke us up every morning starting early, building carries sound like a prison cell block. Lol. Probably still the best hotel in brea, even though my daughter is sure it’s haunted by all the unfaithful guests of Tuesday nights past. Creepy swinger vibes.
