The home met all of our requirements- great kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, perfect living areas, hot tub and garden! Walking to town was simple for shopping, eating and to ride the gondola to the top .

Family Trip to Breck!

The home had all the amenities and space that we needed to accommodate our family and with easy access to town. The owner and manager were a joy to work with, both in the reservation process and during our time in Breck.

Publié le 13 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWapiti Lodge was the perfect location for our annual 3 generation family reunion. Katie was very proactive and apologetic about communicating an issue involving a prior guest that did not secure the garbage bins which had a minor impact on our gathering. Everything was well-maintained and the kitchen was better stocked than our own home! We utilized the entire lodge including hot tub, swing set, game room, etc. Everything as advertised! Since we were there during the Summer Olympics, we even invented our own event of 'cold water immersion' in the nearby Blue River. Thank you Katie for sharing the lodge with our family

We are so disappointed and sorry that we could not deliver the typical 5 star experience that our guests at Wapiti Lodge experience. We try very hard to make that happen. But Mike is right - there were trash issues and no dryer for 5 days. A pesky, persistent bear around our trash (after talking to the Colorado wildlife folks) forced us to ask the guests to keep the trash in the ski room. The dryer died on us right before Mike and the guests checked in. We lost two days since it was the weekend and then the part had to come from Denver. We hope Mike and his guests will come back and give us another chance and, again, we are very sorry this happened.

Wonderful vacation home!
Publié le 13 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at Wapiti Lodge for 5 nights with 14 family members. It was wonderful. Plenty of space. Kitchen was well equipped. Playground for children. Hot tub, ping pong, pool. Plenty of living space bedrooms and bathrooms
Could not have asked for a better place for our family vacation. Would definitely stay here again. 5 stars!!

Beautiful place to stay in Breckinridge
Publié le 23 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a family gathering with 4 generations and really enjoyed the house and the property. It was quiet but close enough to town to enjoy both. We enjoy to cooking together and loved the large, very well equipped kitchen. The swing set was great for our toddler, and the hot tub was nice. The bedrooms were all comfortable and nicley appointed.

Wow! So much more than we expected!!
Publié le 19 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our week at Wapiti Lodge. The house is even larger than we saw online, extremely comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax for our group of 14.
The kitchen is very well stocked and has great appliances to cook at home. It's also just a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to town and the Village base if you wanted to eat out. The bus stop is very close too which was convenient for getting to the mountain to ski each morning.
Katie is a gem to work with, and she was very helpful answering our questions and worked with us when a large snow storm caused our plans to change.
We would 100% stay here again, and we can't wait to come back to Wapiti Lodge. Thank you for your hospitality.
