Early Thanksgiving
Publié le 25 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a very beautiful house, just had so much trouble checking in because code they gave us was wrong, and since there is no phone service up there, we had to keep driving back to Logan just to let them know this. Multiple trips back-and-forth just to get in. There also weren’t basic things there that you would have to have if you’re cooking regular meals like dishwasher detergent so that was another trip to Logan that we shouldn’t have had to make. Also, the website says children under five are free, but we were charged for one of them because they occupied a “bed.” So property was great, there was just not the attention to detail by the rental staff and cleaning staff that was needed.

As for the dishwasher detergent, that is something we supply and we would have been happy to arrange for some to be brought out to you if it was out at the property.

Fall Weekday Getaway

The property was close enought to town and trails to be convenient but secluded and rural enought to unplug with dark skies, and quiet tranquility. There was a few small issues with the stove not working but we made due with what we had.

Publié le 23 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is beautiful! The stay was relaxing and restful. The check-in process was a bit disappointing. We got to the property after dark and there was a gate with a code. I could not find the gate code in my email because there is no cell coverage. I had to go back out and search my email. The gate code was imbedded in the email and easily missed. Needless to say, it was stressful. Once on the property it was wonderful.

There's just small things need up keep; examples the flooring in the basement, the faucets in the master bath, there was no water in the basement bathroom. Being that far out in woods there was no cell service. I'd think about adding a land line

Awesome Getaway in Hocking Hills
