Never ever NUMA
My stay (booked 5 months earlier) was cancelled the morning of my arrival at Bremen (for an exhibition) by NUMA…even if I had double checked again 2 days earlier of my arrival (directly with NUMA CS) my booking with NUMA confirmation ref!!!.
They told me « sorry, call Expedia for support »
Scandalous situation when all city is fully
booked for the exhibition.
Of course, due to that critical city status, Hotels.com was able to propose me a hotel…by 30kms (only) away from city center.
Hopefully& luckily, I was able to figure out some last minute solution.
By the way, NUMA even cashed my booking …cancelled! (Just had the refunding by Hotels.com…1 month later)
Never ever met such a lack of professionalism (NUMA)
I wonder also about responsability of hotels.com, efficiency to solve situation & clear discrepancies with its communication and the waste of time, energy I spent repeating my story too many to too many poeple.
I had to keep pressure & strong reminders on hotels.com shoulder to close all that crazy scenario (some details are still pending but not a problem to manage)
Despite all that and after more that 10/12 years booking my hotels all around the world, will I keep booking with hotels.com?
YES!! (Because I keep a global good appreciation of hotels.com despite I found some new weaknesses to be seriously improved)
