The King reigns
Our stay here was So Amazing. We drove in forbthe George Straight concert. Loved everything about the place. Karl made us feel at home. Very humbled and kind spirited. We loved all the remodeling features and amenities that were provided with our stay. If we come back this way we would Definitely stay here again

Great place to stay!
The room was very clean, the property was very clean and neat. Sarah was great and check on our arrival. Once there she showed us around and just made us feel very welcome. You can tell that the owners take pride in their establishment and it shows from the homemade jams/jelly’s at breakfast to the very welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back.

Stayed in Brenham for the George Strait concert in College Station. I was pleasantly surprised that the gentleman who greeted us at check-in was the owner, Carl. He and his wife were super friendly, welcoming and hospitable. The rooms had been meticulously restored from their former original 1952 build and were immaculate. I loved the vintage meets modern feel. Got to show my teenage son a “record player” put it to use with his pick of a vintage ZZTop record. We also loved the touches of organic coffee to brew along with a small bottle of organic whole milk in the vintage mini-fridge. If we ever have to be back in the area we will be back to the Dixie Motel for sure!

The Dixie was everything we expected & more! It was in pristine picture perfect condition. Karl was personable & ready to show us around the moment we arrived & although the weather was terrible, and blew the electricity out, communication on updates were coming in to keep us in the loop. Amazing stay in Brenham!
We booked this motel in Brenham because we were attending a graduation ceremony in College Station. At this point, I’m trying to find reasons to return so I can stay here again! The owner was lovely. Motel was immaculately clean (and I’m a tough critic on this). So many nice touches. We were given excellent dining recommendations, and the continental breakfast was lovely.

This place is a gem! They have totally renovated a vintage motel and done an amazing job. Every detail is thoughtfully executed. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and everything is spotless. They even have record players in the room and a great selection of vintage vinyl.

We had an excellent stay, and the owners' attention is attentive and receptive. They are committed to making your stay very pleasant, and they achieved it. The rooms were spotless, and the facilities were well maintained. The cleanliness of the hotel exceeded my expectations. What a gem!
This little motor court motel is a gem! Don’t think twice just book it! Karl was a very gracious host and very quick to respond and answer questions. The property is exactly like the pictures online but better! Very quaint, comfy bed, great breakfast room with some afternoon extras. We received a welcoming gift as well. Can’t say enough good things about the Dixie Motel!

Old school vibes; from the Victrola record players with all sorts of records to the old Frigidaire ice box in the breakfast room and rooms. Great place!
Really enjoy our stay at the Dixie Motel. Clean, comfortable nice towels and nicely decorated. Breakfast was excellent fresh jams, fruit, assortment of bread and you press your own orange juice. Owners are very accommodating. We will definitely be staying again.

We LOVED our stay here! The rooms are so nice- brand new, very nice decor, and spanking clean. The breakfast room with all-the-time snacks and drinks is awesome. Little touches- like the old-fashioned milk bottle in our fridge- shows the owners have put a lot of thought and care in the property. Beds are really comfortable. Easy to park, easy to find, super close to downtown. And I love that a vintage property was restored. 5 stars! Stay here!
