Room was exceptionally clean. Convenient location, breakfast area was stocked well - however, construction workers were staying there and would completely wipe out thefresh food and take it in their lunch boxes... staff ahould have prevented this in irder for other guests to also enjoy.

Clean, comfortable bed. Ok, those egg things were gross to look at. If you’re going to have eggs, please do better. Unfriendly night desk person. Everyone else was nice.

I paid more than usual for my budget, but it was worth it. It is a very short drive and you are in Pisgah Park, then after a short trip you can get right on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The breakfast was good, rooms clean, and the beds were comfortable.

This is the second time that Hotels.com has changed the dates of my reservation while making the reservation. In this case it made the change one month and one day in advance of the actual dates. When I contacted Hotels.com after noticing my card was charged they directed me to the hotel. When I talked to the manager about the situation she was rude and hung up on me after I was polite and trying to understand her hostility. I was charged fully for both rooms that were reserved on the wrong day. I even rebooked for the proper day to show that I was intent on staying here. The manager didn’t care and like I said, was rude and hung up on me and would not take my call backs, making the front desk clerk lie that she was out of the hotel. I am cancelling my second dates, the dates I actually booked before Hotels.com switched them. Neither party would take responsibility or be reasonable about the problem I’ve had booking twice now. Totally unacceptable and poor business practices.

The first room we were given was by the noisy ice machine but they changed it for us
