Deluxe Downtown Bungalow - fenced in yard, pet friendly.

Welcome to the perfect home base for your mountain getaway. Our 1910 Craftsman Bungalow sleeps seven-plus in two bedrooms with four beds plus floor mattress and couch in the living room. Enjoy two full baths, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace, front porch and rear patio seating, gas grill, fenced in yard and ample parking. It is a short walk to EVERYTHING BREVARD: great restaurants, unique shopping, local arts and music, and breweries, and an easy drive to waterfalls, hikes, biking, fishing, and more.

This is a pet friendly home. The front yard is fully fenced in and we do allow dogs to come on your vacation but we ask you please let us know as there will be a pet fee of $25/night for up to 2 pets and $15/night for each additional after. Please notify Gareth that you are bringing your furry friend and arrange to pay the pet fee.

Your host is Gareth and your hospitality manager is Perry. Steve, Gareth's father helps with guest needs on occasion.

Located in the LUMBERYARD ARTS DISTRICT (one of the oldest Brevard neighborhoods), this charming historic home was lovingly restored and updated in 2009 by Parker Platt a leading local architect. Older home, beautifully remodeled and lovingly cared for. Everything you need for your stay is already there. If it’s not, you probably don’t need it. The best of downtown Brevard is within walking distance. Loved it.

The red bungalow was perfect! My husband had our car for the day to fish so I wanted a place close to town so my daughter and I could walk into town. The red bungalow is so close to everything! We walked to all of our meals as well as the shops downtown. We brought our 2 elderly dogs who loved the fenced in yard and all the doggie supplies the house provided. We will definitely rent again when we are in Brevard next!

Beyond our expectations with everything vacationers would need. The kitchen was very well equipped & excellent for cooking. Furniture & decor was special with handmade pottery & original art. The fenced yard was a hit with our King Charles Spaniel & convenient for us. Interior & exterior was pristine & walking path nearby was a great advantage for walkers or bikers.

5 star rental
We stayed for 5 days in this wonderful rental in Brevard with our elderly dog. It is centrally located such that you can walk to downtown shops, restaurants and breweries or drive a short distance to incredible hikes. The owner was thoughtful from day one and did a great job of staying in the loop with communication without being intrusive. The only downside was departing and returning to life away from Brevard. Highly recommend this wonderful rental!

Great place but get like GoldiLocks
When we checked into the house it hadn’t been cleaned from previous renters. Beds hadn’t been made,etc. We called property manager and issues was addressed immediately by having cleaning crew come to house. Have been promised a refund. Outside of this house is in great location and as advertised. Brevard is a beautiful town!

We loved this adorable Red Bungalow! Super cute and spacious for our family of 5. We stayed here 8 days while our oldest was at summer camp in Brevard. Fenced in yard was great! We walked to breakfast at Morning Social most mornings. We highly recommend!

Amazing rental near trails and town
We’ve stayed here before, but this time we opted for a full week at the Red Bungalow & it did NOT disappoint. This house is in a great location. You can walk to almost any restaurant or bar/brewery & it has the best greenway access to get into the Pisgah Forest for biking (or hiking if you prefer). The house is clean and well stocked with supplies for the week… food is the only purchase you need to make. Dog friendly with a great fenced in yard for the pups to do their business (don’t forget to please pick up your dogs’ poo to keep this place great for others). We just love the location and comfort of the Red Bungalow so I’m sure we’ll be back. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful mountain home Gareth. 😁 Can’t recommend it enough… or maybe I can, to make sure no one else finds out how awesome it is. 😜
