Great stay in Brewster

bugs bites at night
Publié le 4 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family and I stayed in this property for a week during the summer. Cape Cod is Beautiful and the activities we did in Cape Cod were amazing including the great food, beaches, and great towns.
However, Our stay in the property was not pleasant. The owner called me ahead of our vacation and mentioned that we had to bring our own bed sheets. It seemed odd to me because this has never happen to me before. He said that there are no bed sheets because He did not have laundry service. I did not think anything of it until we slept a few nights at the townhouse and bug bites started appearing on people in my party including the kids. We did not think anything of it since we were out and a few mosquito bites r normal. But we started monitoring the bug bite every night before every one would go to sleep and the next day, more bites would appear. In addition we started researching the differences between mosquito bites and bedbug bites. The bites appearing on my family looked like the bedbug bites online. We ended up leaving our trip early so that we would not have to sleep at the townhouse for another night. In addition we ended up throwing away all the sheets, bedding, pillows, and luggage/bags/cloths. The remaining items we brought home, were put in garbage bags we bought from the store and sealed them with packing tape. The actual stay at this property made our vacation extremely unpleasant and stressful. I would not recommend staying here unless the bedbugs are gone.

This review comes as quite the surprise to me. The listing clearly states that linens are not included. I’m also wondering why the only bad review we’ve had in three years comes from the same guest who caused the only damage that we’ve encountered to the unit. My family spends as much time as we can in this condo and my wife and I take great pride in its cleanliness. There has never been bed bugs in this unit and I can assure you that there are no bed bugs as I sit here myself in this very condo writing this response. Quite the opposite, as many of my guests have highlighted in their own reviews, this is a bright, sunlit, well-maintained, clean unit with gorgeous decor and amenities. I don’t take this accusation lightly and I hope others will see through to the truth. The guest arriving the day following your departure has confirmed the cleanliness of the condo and has given me a five star review. Interestingly, when I contacted you following your stay, you did not report any bedbugs or voice any complaints or concerns about your stay. I am proud to have earned premiere host status. My wife and I boast a spotless, immaculately clean and inviting condo and we have many repeat guests who enjoy spending time here as much as we do. I have contacted VRBO regarding your dishonest and retaliatory review.

Brewster vacation
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayExcellent vacation in Brewster! Paul was an excellent host and would communicate very quickly. Condo was extremely clean with updated appliances. Location was great and close to many attractions. Ocean edge pool and restaurants were great. Paul was fantastic and my family would definitely comeback in the future!

Condo was clean, with newer appliances and furniture, nicely decorated, and stocked with several necessities. Neighborhood was quiet with minimal traffic. Highly recommended.
