I've stayed here on many occasions, mainly because it's relatively inexpensive and it's the only hotel in Grafton. SINCE it's the only hotel in Grafton, the owners don't pay much attention to keeping it up to modern standards. On the night I was there (10/12/2019) the WiFi was not working, so no internet. That's what I hated the most. When I got in the shower and tried pulling the shower curtain, the jury-rigged shower rod came loose. The towels, as usual, were so threadbare that they were ROUGH, and that's no exaggeration, but the shower water pressure was good. There was no alarm clock, and the TV was still a big old-fashioned TUBE. There are people who literally LIVE at the hotel, and they have improvised gas grills outside that they cook on. There's a little video lottery parlor that you can grab a beer at. I'm a pretty low-maintenance person, so I'm pretty forgiving. If all you require is a bed, a TV, and air conditioning, it'll do.
