Wonderful Weekend Escape

From the moment we walked in we were thoroughly impressed with everything from the layout to the generous breakfast supplies. Gill has thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable and luxurious as possible. We will be back!

The barn was spotlessly clean with beautiful added touches like farm fresh food supplied. We will definitely be back!

Do you want hosts who will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome? Who will provide you breakfast including homemade bread, jam, butter and eggs? A place where the linen is top quality and there is everything you need to cook? An outdoor fire pit and bbq perhaps?
Well…. Make sure you book and stay at Idlewild!! Thank you Gill and James for being the best hosts and providing the best experience we could have asked for! See you next time we visit. Hayley, Ray, Sue and Rob 😊

Most Comfortable Stay of our 2 month trip!
Publié le 29 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayRenovated barn does not do this place justice. Yes, its a renovated barn but it is stunning, every detail is high end finished with very comfortable layout. Private with gorgeous views of the hills. You will not want to leave! The owners are over-the-top nice and home-made bread and butter delicious! Thanks for a great restful stay! If ever in the area we will for sure return!

Wonderfully relaxing

A glorious place to stay and do nothing but sit on the deck, watching the valley change throughout the day.
Wonderfully attentive hosts, and a clean, modern house made the trip one to remember.
