Publié le 26 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is exactly as described; beautiful, comfortable, quaint and truly a "home away from home". The cottage is exceptionally outfitted with everything you need. And items you may have forgotten to bring. Lol. Cleanliness and organization is phenomenal. The hosts are well intuned to travelers needs. This is the best VRBO we've booked, and will revisit. An extra plus is the quiet of the community with an opportunity to view the mountains and Harrisonburg city lights on the horizon. There are opportunities to sleep up to 8 people as there is a murphy bed and a sleep sofa downstairs and 2 twins and a queen upstairs. These choices are well suited to young adults and/or children.

Exceeded expectations!

She truly went the extra mile, including bringing us fresh baked cookies and chopping extra wood so we could have fresh firewood after a rain! We could not recommend this place more!!

A little peace of heaven
Publié le 11 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayFor us it was a nice, relaxing getaway from the daily hustle and bustle of city life. The charming cottage offered us a peaceful retreat with stunning views. Our host Fern was an angel, she answered our every queries promptly, she greeted us in person despite arriving late at night, checked back with us the following day!! The refrigerator and pantry were fully stocked, and the place was so thoughtfully and tastefully furnished. We'll definitely be back!!

Parents weekend

Charming quiet getaway
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely and peaceful stay at the Cedar Nook cottage, while we prepared and raced in the Shenandoah 100k mountain bike race. Ferne was great and all of the amenities provided were appreciated and enjoyed! The place was clean and extremely quiet and restful!
