Publié le 31 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayHad everything we needed and more, and Jan was very helpful. It is in a good position for touring and walking in this area. Vrbo on the other hand created a couple of problems which took time to sort out.

disappointing access
Publié le 25 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWell equiped and homely lodge. Had wrong access number sent us for key safe- took 3/4 hour to obtain right number. Site manager was very helpful. We don't have smart phones and hadn't taken our computer with us and hadn't been given the owners telephone number. Didn't know the access code had been altered. Site manager helped us by phoning you for information

Lovely setting
Publié le 4 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our 8th stay here. It's a lovely lodge in a peaceful, rural setting with a few other lodges surrounding it. It is really well equipped, comfortable an excellent find. We originally came for the steam railway that's nearby but our son lives close by so it's convenient for visiting. Jan and Paul are great hosts, nothing to much trouble and it's always spotless.

Nice set out lodge and we loved the sauna.
Unfortunately a lack of, possibly, maintenance of some of the electric items let us down somewhat. The dishwasher and bedroom TV both didn’t work. There was no bread maker which we had planned to use. Unfortunately the owners chose not to share this information until we arrived. This was a shame as we would have still gone but knowing ahead would have been nice.
Both the oven and microwave could have been cleaner. Care was needed on the decking as this was very slippery.
We would recommend this lodge if the above issues were addressed.

Excellent stay at Astbury falls
Publié le 5 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayWe have just got back from a spare of the moment trip to Astbury falls and I can't fault the location or host. Peaceful location and not too far from the local town where their is plenty to do and see. Thank you very much Paul and Jan for your kindness and your complementary prosesco went down a treat. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Nicola

Tranquil break near Astbury Falls

Very close to the lovely towns of Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and the beautiful village and sightseeing area of Ironbridge, this was an ideal place for a few days staycation break, would book again if visiting the area.

Bentley Lodge Astbury Falls

Peaceful location but easy to access all local shops, restaurants and tourist attractions.
Highly recommended as a base for quiet, relaxing staycation.

Eardington Lodge Weekend Stay

Every possible item you could want was there and more.
Dishwasher wasn't working but with there being four of us washing up wasn't a problem.
Some of the info regarding nearest eating places was out of date.
The Swan Inn was a real disappointment. And the Bulls Head which was fantastic have not offered a taxi service for the last four years.
But all in all we had what we all needed a peaceful and enjoyable weekend.
It's a lovely part of the country and lots to do very close by.
