Wonderful stay in cabin with mountain view
Publié le 10 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur stay was fantastic! The cabin is part of a small farm. We had a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains from the cabin. The cabin (second floor of a larger barn) was larger than expected and with a great kitchen. The wifi connection worked great, but the mobile phone reception was not, which was fine for us. The host was very welcoming and the stay included eggs from the farm from the hens that walked around the yard. There is a farm stand at the first floor of the cabin were the host sold delicious farm-made products such as eggs, sourdough bread, and jellies. Our kids had a great time playing at the farm, and feeding and looking at the animals. The cabin is just a few minutes drive from the town of Island pond, VT that has good services. We would love to come here again!

The rental was the upper of two levels, and was clean and welcoming. Leah was very nice at check-in. She has a flair for decoration, and she left some treats of pumpkin bread and maple candy. I enjoyed my stay very much!

location is great and very scenic. The cabin is very cozy and has a wonderful view. We really enjoyed the goats and the chickens. Those were the biggest chickens I have ever seen, I think. We also got to taste the eggs. Thank you, Leah!

Lovely place to stay!
Publié le 30 août 2022 sur HomeAwayThis was a lovely apartment with a view of the hills and forest in the distance. The chickens and goats were good company in the yard! Leah and her husband are wonderful hosts. The apartment is well furnished, clean, with all conveniences you need. Close to the village at Island Pond but feels remote and quiet. I would definitely recommend Mountain View Farm to anyone traveling to the area.
