L’amabilité du personnel. Par contre je n’ai pas aimé le fait que l’offre était une chambre avec vue, alors que ce n’était pas le cas!

Vraiment pas génial
Publié le 9 août 2023 sur HotelsHôtel plutôt bien situé et avec un parking. Le hall est super joli et le petit déjeuner très bon.
Par contre les chambres sont indignes du prix. Nous avions deux portes, une servant à rentrer /sortir et l’autre étant une porte coupe feu donnant sur un couloir … les couloirs sont datés et malgré les efforts les chambres ne sont pas mieux et vraiment contents de n’y avoir passé que une nuit. L’ascenseur est aussi plus que douteux.
Bref pas un mercure tél qu’on peut les connaître.
Ne mérite aucunement le prix payé.

Merci beaucoup d'avoir pris le temps de nous faire part de votre séjour chez Mercure. Je suis vraiment désolé de lire que cela n'a pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes et veuillez accepter nos plus sincères excuses. La chambre a une 2ème sortie en raison de l'escalier principal qui monte tout le bâtiment et c'est pour la sécurité et l'évacuation d'urgence. Je comprends vos réflexions sur l'ascenseur.Cordialement

It is a beautiful period property in a great location. But, it is very poorly maintained. Carpets are threadbare; my room smelt of damp or mould and I left the window open and went for a walk for a couple of hours to air it. Carpet in the bedroom had noticeable stains. Corridors were not well hoovered - there were feathers from pillows for instance and in more than one area. I was very dissapointed in the condition and it's a shame to let such a lovely building go downhill. I was so put off by the condition and therefore ambiance that I ate elsewhere. The location is excellent and so were the staff.

I had a fantastic stay at Mercure Brighton Seafront. The staff were absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough for us – their friendly and attentive service really made our visit special. The hotel’s location is ideal, with the stunning beach just steps away. One minor downside was the condition of the carpets, which were stained and could use replacing, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. For dining, we were thrilled to discover *The Gingerman* restaurant just around the corner – highly recommend it for an incredible meal!"
