My family stayed here together 5 Adults 3 children And our dog Place was absolutely amazing great old house fantastic back fence for your dog to stay safe Nice walk to the beach and push bike rides Only problem we had was not enough forks for us all to have one aha But that’s easily fixed Highly recommend for your family to visit this family house

Lovely Winter break.

The property was close to shops and friends and church. A short walk to the beach. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The yard was big enough for our dog the run around in and the outdoor seating area was comfortable. Washing machine and dryer made washing easy. Furniture was modern and suited the property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay and the dogs loved the big yard! Close to the water and shops. Very convenient

Wonderful Experience

Emma's property was clean and had everything needed, it was only my husband and I staying but this house would be ideal for people staying with children and pets too. Communication from Emma was excellent, we would definitely stay there again. Thank you for hosting us Emma.

Filthy and overpriced

Should I start with the ensuite bathroom that was littered with dead ants? Or the floor coverings in the dining room that were caked in dirt? Perhaps the cups in the bathroom with someone's toothpaste slobber all over it. The smell was rancid and when we tried to open the windows - we found torn (or no) insect screens. Dodgy home jobs in electric fittings made it unsafe and uncomfortable. Would have been fine for half the price ... but to be charged an exorbitant cleaning fee for such appalling standards was salt in the wound. The property certainly has potential - but is far from fulfilled and needs some serious TLC.

Ants in the bathroom: I'm sincerely sorry for the inconvenience caused by the presence of dead ants. We had a pest spray done 24 hours prior to your arrival, and unfortunately, it seems some ants were affected and left on the floor. I was unaware of this, and had I known, we would have promptly cleaned it up. 2. Unpleasant smell: The odour you experienced was likely a result of the recent pest spray. I wasn't aware that it could cause such an issue, and I apologise for any discomfort it caused. 3. Security screens: We are currently in the process of getting security screens installed, and we anticipate completion before Christmas. 4. Dodgy electric fittings: I'm uncertain about the specific concerns you have regarding the electrical fittings, but I assure you that all electrical work at the property is performed by licensed tradesmen. We have recently installed new fans, air conditioning, bathroom lights, and kitchen appliances to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests. 5. Cleanliness: I've spoken to our cleaners regarding the missed cleaning items and shared your review with them. They have apologised for any oversights and assured me that this won't be an issue in the future. 6. Property condition: While I understand that our holiday beach house may not meet the standards of everyone, we are continuously working to improve and enhance the property. It's a comfortable and clean space, and we believe it provides everything needed for a pleasant stay. I regret that your experience fell short of your expectations, and I hope you understand that we take your feedback seriously.
