Pleasant cottage

Publié le 24 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis house was just what we needed for our short trip. Be prepared, there is no stove so you can't really cook, so be prepared to eat out. Also I recommend moving the rugs out of the bathroom, they are extremely slick and I almost fell multiple times because of them. I finally took them out of the bathroom completely to avoid hurting myself. My only other complaint is the curtains were extremely see through so sleeping in was NOT an option. Overall, I do recommend this place, and would rent it again.

Do Not Stay Here
Publié le 26 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayProperty is in horrible condition. Ceiling tiles in the bathroom are wet and dirty. Ceiling in bonus room is falling in. Vanity is missing chunks from around the bottom. Duvet in king room was not clean. The refrigerator seal was so rusted, moldy and crumbling that it wouldn’t stay closed and was dirty inside. We left soon after checking in. I’ve sent messages and texts to property manager and over a week later I haven’t gotten a response. I have no idea who left reviews saying this place was good but I’m guessing they never actually were there.

Rachel, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your suggestions on areas of improvement and have shared them with the homeowner for further consideration. The items mentioned in your review are all known cosmetic issues that have existed since we listed the property. We discovered we needed to replace the roof and that work is happening as soon as possible. Additionally, we have replaced the refrigerator. We purchased the house last year and are doing upgrades as we can. While we do regret our home was not up to your expectations, we are happy to report that no issues were reported by the guests who stayed the following weekend. Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!

Just like the pictures!!

The beds were out of this world comfortable. The location was perfect as it’s right off the interstate and easy access to downtown and other surrounding areas we were visiting such as Kingsport and Johnson City!!

Inside, the property is cheerfully decorated and feels really like a loved family home. All photos are absolutely accurate, and the cottage is much more spacious than it may appear on the outside. Location, convenience, value and a very quiet street make this a real winner! Additionally, the local hosts quickly respond to questions and genuinely want their guests to enjoy their stay - we would definitely return again!
