Avis New Beachfront Boutique Rose Cottage

It is my great privilege and passion in life to own this beautiful seaside cottage and share it with family, friends and those who love the ocean! The cottage that you booked is Sea Dreams, a cozy enchanting cottage surrounded by lots of sea and sky which is Your view from the four sets of sliding glass doors and adjoining full glass entry door that look out to the rose garden, seashell pathway and the ocean which you can see from the living room and dining table. You were able to walk out onto your own white wicker furnished deck overlooking the beach. You had asked to use the deck which belongs to the second Cottage to the right front that you did not book and walks out from their living room which you could not use. You did have a 40 foot furnished patio just four steps from your deck with tables, padded chaise lounge chairs, umbrella and a fireplace surrounded by Adirondack chairs for nighttime star gazing which you used. It sits just 4 feet above the beach below you which was great for your two young children to play on and swim. During your two day stay you mentioned that you did not press a button that was on the directions for the tv and that you left the French door refrigerator ajar by mistake by moving the charcuterie tray which I prepared for you. When I came into the house and greeted you, you mentioned the refrigerator was cold but that because the door was left ajar was not as cold as when you first came in. I checked the fridge myself it was cold not warm and you showed me the tray you took out and put on the counter realizing it did not fit where you had moved it in the fridge. You did not mention medication or any other concerns during that time, just the tv button and keeping the door ajar by mistake. Each guest that has stayed since have had no problems with the refrigerator and it has remained cold. Each guest has turned the tv on and used it easily. There was not an appliance malfunction. It wasn’t until you left and wrote to me looking for a credit that you also mentioned a single hair in the refrigerator, which could easily have gotten there by yourself or children opening and closing the door. I take great pride in owning and preparing a comfortable beach home for my guests. I myself as well as a wonderful housekeeper, both clean the cottage together so as to double check, but also to do considerate things for our guests like turning down the layered ruffled bedsheets, Adding fresh rose and hydrangea arrangements, carved Italian soaps with bath soaks for your soaking tub which I believe your family enjoyed. All of which we are happy to prepare for you and your families comfort and welcome. You were here for Fourth of July, where you were able to spend magical moments with your family on the beach overlooking the ocean watching a wonderful array of fireworks. I truly love to share this restful seaside surrounding and I hope someday you may return here and see the same working refrigerator which will certainly have a platter in it for you to share!
