This loft has a private entrance. The loft entrance is at the rear of the property. We have a dedicated parking lot, and the loft entrance is up the back wooden steps.

We are available as needed. I live in the adjacent loft and can be reached anytime through AirBnB message or text. We also own the stores underneath-Cranberry Lane, the Southern Churn and work there daily. Stop in and say Hi.

Our loft is located the heart of downtown. You are only steps away from the Birthplace Country Music Museum, craft breweries, Blackbird Bakery, Public Library, local restaurants, Paramount Theatre, coffee shops, we have both men’s and women’s specialty clothing stores, music venues, performance theaters, cigar shop, gift stores and most importantly, your loft is located over an ice cream, candy and homemade fudgery! You are only 10 minutes away from Bristol Motor Speedway, the Pinnacle Mega Shopping Plaza and the SW Virginia Cultural Heritage Center. Our area boasts many outdoor adventures. We are listed as one the top fly-fishing destinations in the country. We are located close to the Appalachian Trail, Creeper Trail and many other hiking trails. Our downtown is very walkable. The loft is located in the heart of historic downtown Bristol. If you have your own vehicle we have a dedicated parking space during your stay. There is also Uber/Lyft service. There are rental cars available at the airport. We have limited bus transportation downtown.

This gorgeous space is located on the second floor, and it's only 26 steps up to the Bordertown Loft!

During warmer weather months, there are several live music events, so there is a potential for noise. However, there is a city ordinance that all music must end at 11 p.m.

This building is over 100 years old, and we have beautifully, painstakingly restored it. You will enjoy lots of charm with a modern flair! We have very high cleaning standards, but you may find naturally occurring brick dust occasionally. In the loft, you will discover exposed ceiling beams with plenty of character throughout.

Great vacation rental
One of, if not the, best all-around vacation rentals we've had. The owners are the best, respond immediately to any questions, and also own the store next door. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, and fully stocked kitchen. Condo had everything you could need, including extra toothbrushes and other toiletries in case you forgot something. Owners provided a few bottled waters and lemonade and a variety of snacks. We definitely would stay here again if we return to Bristol. Full disclosure: there is a little street noise (mostly people talking after leaving the bars) late on Friday and Saturday night, but instances were brief. And to be expected in the heart of the main street in town.

Let me just say, Karen hits a home run with this place. Her communication is unmatched and the place is an absolute gem. My only negative comment is location (for me). It is right on state street and motorcycles (90% Harley’s) come through at all hours and it’s simply a function of a loud motorcycle basically riding in a “canyon”. But if you like to be in the mix near the hotspots of Bristol, this is 100% your place to be

We are beyond impressed with the comfort and beauty of this loft and the attention to detail of everything that we could have needed. The furniture and bedding are so cozy and we slept very well. If I could give more than five stars I would. The loft was beautiful and the hostess had everything you could possibly want. The town of Bristol was also very nice and the shops downtown had a little something for every taste. Will definitely be staying again. This rental deserves more than 5 stars. The space is impeccably clean, fresh and up-to-date. As nice as the pictures look, in person the loft is even more impressive with the exposed brick walls, high ceilings and big windows overlooking State Street. The furnishings are stylish yet comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and everything is in excellent working condition. The hosts have provided everything needed for a relaxing stay and included many additional conveniences like multiple charging stations and even umbrellas in case it rains. The hosts were friendly, attentive and responsive. Our stay exceeded our expectations and we look forward to returning.

We have stayed with Karen at this property before and as usual, it was an awesome weekend. Our son attends King College in Bristol and so when we visit, we try to stay in this unit. It has become just like home. This weekend, I cooked for my son and some of his team mates - the kitchen is well appointed with everything you would need. The space is always clean and the furnishings are well kept and up to date. You can literally walk right in and feel like you are at home. When I first saw the pictures of the Loft on the site, I was struck by how comfortable and contemporary everything looked. I knew we would enjoy the location, and we weren't disappointed. All of the little things you take for granted when you're at your own home were provided. Karen even left a couple of beers in the refrigerator! We've already talked about visiting Bristol again, and we know where we will be staying!
