Lovely pub, great place to stay

Publié le 14 janv. 2023 sur HotelsLovely pub with comfortable room. Friendly staff and nice beer. I was greeted with a warm welcome and escorted to my room. Tea/coffee making facilities were present and fresh milk available on request in the bar. I only had breakfast once but it was tasty and well presented.

When we arrived at 8.45pm there was only a young lad there waiting with our key. Apparently the owners had done a moonlight flit and left everything to be sorted out by the young man who honestly did his best. There was no food on offer as they had closed the pub. The room was very clean and very comfortable (thank goodness). Limited coffee and tea facilities though. They had a lot of maintenance people there the next day which was a bit noisy. Such a shame as it has the makings of a nice place.
