Great lakeside spot
Publié le 30 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat place to stay, felt like the old days before another unnamed rental platform destroyed itself (ie felt like someone's actual home they rented out). Lovely spot. Only knocking off a star because of communication overload. Wasn't sure if I was communicating with agency, owner or 'host'. They were all perfectly fine when speaking to each of them though. Place was clean enough.

Beautiful property but the management company is obnoxious

However, I received endless phone calls and emails about payment and authorizations and contracts and downloading unnecessary apps. It was not pleasant. Also, heads up that the front door automatically locks so do not leave the key inside the house..

Amazing check out from the big city
Publié le 24 juin 2020 sur HomeAwayAfter spending 3 days on the lake, we are completely destressed from our day to day city lives. Loved every minute of it, from fishing off the paddleboat, drinking wine on the deck, to playing cards in the house. Could have used a little more Sun, but thats just June in BC, hard to plan around that.
Only reason Im leaving -1 star for accuracy, is it dosent state in the description that there is no cell or WiFi at the house. Not a big deal, and it was great to completely check out anyway, but we did have some family we had to check in with back home every day which meant a short drive to Egmont a few times day.
Cant wait to come back again!

Publié le 18 juin 2020 sur HomeAwayThis place was perfect to get away and enjoy nature. Be advised there is no cellular service at the house. You have to drive a few minutes to get signal. It's the perfect place to enjoy time with family and try new things such as paddle boating and fishing .
