Short Easter Break
We stayed here with our 2 dogs for a much needed post-winter break. We were delighted with the location - stones throw from the harbour so easy access to everything and some great walls with dogs. The property was well equipped and plenty of space for us. The parking was the biggest challenge as it was a busy tourist weekend but this was expected (clearly detailed in the listing).

Wonderful vacations
The house is just 2 minutes away from Brixham harbour and a short walk to the local beach. The house was a bit hard to find, because it is located in a tiny street, without any parking space. This is the only downside. You always have to park your car away from the house. Other than that we had a perfect stay. The house was nice and clean, all appliances worked perfectly. Enough equipment to prepare a meal. All in all I would recommend this house and the host Sarah.

The location is great for just walking out but you do have to organise yourself well re parking. The house was clean but some of the hob did not work. The washing machine tray was moulding and back decking needed sweeping and checking as previous people had been smoking and left cigarettes butts on window cill

Nicely modernised terraced property with three good size bedrooms and a small but pleasant yard outside. Downsides are the access - nowhere to unload close to the property and no long stay carparks close by. However this is the nature of the beast if you want to stay in a seaside harbour location. Lots of restaurants closed on Monday & Tuesday out of season.

Amazing accommodation in an amazing location
Lovely cottage with only a few steps to harbour and town centre. Very clean. Nice courtyard to relax away from the hussle and bussle which gets the sun all day. Highly recommend and will staying to be staying again.

Fantastic mini break.
We had a lovely stay away with our family. Communication was excellent throughout. Arrival we were greeted with lots of goodies, mince pies, chocolates, even milk in the fridge! Fantastic hosts. Thank you! Cottage was beautiful, clean and in a fabulous location. Would highly recommend Ostend cottage. We will be returning without a doubt!

Couldn’t have been any better!
Location is absolutely perfect for exploring Brixham. The cottage has everything you could possibly need with great attention to detail. Everywhere was very clean and the linen smelt fresh. It felt homely from the off! The treats were a lovely touch. We would have appreciated another wardrobe in the second double room as it was a bit difficult two couples sharing one in the master bedroom, but not a big issue. Would love to return and would 100% recommend. Thank you :)

Ideal Brixham getaway
If you want the perfect base from which to explore Brixham and the local area, this is it. It's a literal stone's throw from the harbour and yet quiet at night. It's clean, bigger than the photos suggest, and very dog-friendly.

Fantastic harbour location
Beautiful house. Fantastic location right on the harbour. Easy walk to beaches, pubs, boats, everything you needed. No need to drive once parked up the hill 5 mins walk away (free street parking). Quick and easy communication with owner of the property who was very helpful and lovely treats in house on arrival. The noisy seagulls are the biggest downside. Although nothing anyone can do about them. Need to have good mobility to stay here as 2 bedrooms at the top of a steep staircase. Recommend taking a stair gate if staying with little ones. Lovely courtyard garden for relaxing in.

Pre-arrival support from Sarah with restaurant recommendations & parking queries was first class and set the tone as the arrival package was a lovely touch. Cottage was so clean and well presented - better than some five star hotels. Minor issue with electricity was sorted by Steve in less than ten minutes from calling. Overall, a wonderful cottage, location and hosts!

Great home in heart of Brixham Harbour, lovely and clean. Nice welcome hamper with a few essentials. Great for the family. Brixham is a lovely town with a great harbour and many nearby spots. Only thing to think about is parking and steep slopes. Carparks are available in the harbour if a hill climb is not your thing. Other than that a lovely holiday. Would happily go again.

Lovely house perfect for a family
What a lovely house, everything exceeded our expectations and was perfect for my family and our two dogs. Everything you could possibly need was provided along with a welcome hamper which was a lovely surprise when we arrived. The host was so accommodating and communicated with us throughout our stay. Brilliant stay in Brixham
We all enjoyed such a lovely stay. Cottage is fabulous and in a great location. Kids (10 and 12) loved the loft room. So nice to be a stones throw from the harbour, lots of nice walks, close to the beach and plenty of eating spots. Thanks so much and we may well be back next year (kids have already asked when!) Excellent stay with a home from home experience
Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage with my family. Excellent location 2 mins from shops, bars restaurants & harbour. Having no parking space isn’t a problem at all. We swiftly off loaded lugged between the Salty Sparrow restaurant & the shop called Destiny. Then was able to find street parking a few minutes away. You don’t really need to drive around as we got the ferry several times to Torquay theatre Paignton beach. Also there is a regular bus service number 12 that you can take a trip to Goodrington sands a short walk from the stop to the beach there you will find a lovely beach & cafe restaurant Cantina. Also Cockinginton is a lovely quaint village worth a trip. Can’t wait to return Brixham it is so lovely.

A beautifully renovated place amazingly situated right in the harbour area.
We had a lovely time enjoying relaxing in this beautiful property. Exactly what we needed after busy travelling around England. The house was very comfortable with everything we needed and was well positioned being close to the Coop and plenty of ice cream shops and fish and chip places!! Dropping off luggage was a little tricky but well worth the effort in order to be close to the action.
