Avis Stunning Seaside House Walk to Beach, Marina & Brixham Town, Devon. Dog Friendly

The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property.

A good sized family home within 10-15 minutes walking distance of Brixham harbour. Be advised that the walk back is steep and perhaps not suitable for all. We stayed with 4 adults and 6 children, ranging from 7 to 13 years old. Most of the children slept in the den, which was great fun for them but also led to more chatting and less sleep! We would have benefited from a dryer to be able to dry laundry and more outdoor space for the kids, but otherwise had everything we needed. The children's games were a fantastic addition for those rainy days. We can recommend Shoalstone pool for an invigorating morning dip, Berry Head hotel for a lovely meal, and perhaps dolphin spotting if you're lucky! The owner was communicative and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.
