Friendly and none corporate environment. Food was excellent and the Jail ale superb. Staff attentive and polite. Great experience.

They staff is friendly and great. Made suggestions on places to visit. Food at the attached pub was excellent. Room was spacious and bed comfortable.

This is a great place to stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. Rooms are clean and spacious. Lovely stay and have already recommended to friends.

Surprising a good short stay

We were made to feel welcome when we arrived and were delighted to find the main bus route ran outside the hotel allowing us to spend our three days exploring the area car free.
The food on offer was excellent with a good choice each night that was wonderfully cooked and presented.
The staff were friendly and efficient, making our stay relaxed and pleasant. We would not hesitate to recommend or to book another short stay.
