The weirdest hostel ever!
Publié le 18 août 2021 sur HotelsThe hostel was a nuclear shelter during the Cold War. It’s very old fashioned, cold and the WiFi connection is terrible and in the rooms doesn’t exist at all! It’s very expensive to what they offer! It’s suitable for people who like adventures or those who want to experience a weird stay! For me, it was an amazing experience but if I knew, I wouldn’t give my money for this hostel!. So I don’t recommend it at all!! It’s not my cup of tea!

A memorable experience. Everywhere you look are relics from the Soviet period and so you are basically sleeping inside a museum. Furthermore the room (a 2-person private in our case) was more than spacious enough. The beds, pillows and sleeping bags seem to be from the Soviet era as well and are not very comfortable. This is all part of the experience though, and we didn’t mind, so no complaints there.

It is what it is - a bunker. Amazing experience. Great location for exploring Brno on foot. Paid parking garage just across the street.

Parkerte ved ett hotell rett bortenfor, det kostet litt men var ikke langt å gå. Rommet var romsligt og sengene var stål køyeseng med tynn madrass og sovepose, men alle sov godt!

Publié le 19 juin 2024 sur HotelsDo not expect comfort and luxury, this is a nuclear bunker that is very authentic. Expect a hard bed, sleeping bag and soft pillow. Showers are operated by a pull down (they are hot).
It was a great experience and I was glad I did it.

This is a real bunker! You get an amazing historical sense of what living through the Cold War might have been like, or as a grittier version of a Vault Dweller in Fallout. The mold reminded me of what it might breathing in constant rads might be like. An amazing experience!
