A little dissapointed with the overal state of the decor very tired looking, carpets old and worn paint flaking off in places. Our shower was not working. Though after talking to reception it was fixed. Cleaning of the room and bed making was not good. Breakfast was v,good though service a little infomal! Being addressed as 'mate' and 'hi guys' we found a little 'incorrect'.Also thought street clothing not uniforms spoilt the image of the hotel
I wish the above to be considered as helpful critisism! A definate possitive was 'George' a very helpful and polite assistant manager?

Vue splendide, personnel sympathique mais organisation générale plutôt défaillante. Odeur de tabac persistante et forte dans la chambre ( avec découverte d’un cendrier plein... )dans un hôtel non fumeur...)

Publié le 13 janv. 2015 sur Hotelsarrivée le samedi après-midi chambre libre à partir de 15 h00 agréablement surpris. Bar de l'hôtel chaleureux Diner au restaurant de l'hôtel, tarif très correct. Seul petit souci le personnel ne parle pas français, étonnant dans le monde du tourisme. mais cela ne nous a pas trop gêné.

Bon hôtel, bon restaurant.
Manque la climatisation dans les chambres par grande chaleur

Good location, nice views of sea and beach. Attentive and efficient staff. Comfortable beds. Good food but slightly limited menu.

Our room was extremely hot , we spoke to reception and they promptly charged our room.
Breakfast was excellent all good quality ingredients staff were very good and helpful

Weekend break by the sea.
Publié le 10 mars 2024 sur HotelsOverall enjoyable place to spend a weekend & convenient for the beach. Very dog friendly & really helpful staff.
Food & food service OK, but a bit hit & miss. No parking, so reliant on street or public car park. Accessibility an issue, as no lift & all rooms up flights of stairs. Some walk-in showers in most expensive rooms, but not accessible.
We did have a lovely couple of days here, but a few things would make it better.

Thank you for your feedback- we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay.Sadly as we are a listed building we do not have a lift which I know can be difficult. With regard to the food service, I will certainly give this feedback to the Front of House Team
