Really really overpriced quite disappointing yo spend this much and have a room that resembles a student accommodation The outdoor pool was nice the bathroom was new but the hotel as tired bedroom decor lacklustre One staff member was rather rude And lots of mess and debris Really wanted to ask for a refund of some sort as it was so expensive

Dear Mrs AmandaThis is very disappointing to read. I have spoken to our Ops Manager and he says that he did the full checkout on reception with you himself and you didn’t mention anything to him at all. I certainly cannot agree with you that our rooms resemble student accommodation. I do think that is a very unfair description. Should you have raised any issues throughout your stay, which you did not, we certainly would have moved you immediately. We also have a look before you book system on our website which allows you to see all our rooms in full and enables you to choose one which best suits your needs. I am sorry you did not enjoy your time with us.

Overall unfortunately disappointed.

The hotel itself is lovely with great facilities. The outdoor pool is wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room we stayed in was shabby. On check out we spoke to the manager about the damaged wallpaper, the crack in the sink, cracks in the bathroom tiles and the low water pressure. He told us that the room was on the list for refurbishment but they still charged £220 (or near enough) for the room which I think is unacceptable especially as their website says ‘high quality’. We had already paid on arrival so the manager said he couldn’t refund us anything. Quite disappointed as the hotel is in a great location with lovely facilities.

Our stay was ok but for a four star hotel and for the price we paid we found the room small and it was quite run down. The food and drinks outside were lovely, it made a really enjoyable afternoon. The service was quite slow but that wasn’t a big deal.
