Our bathroom was really old with a shower not suitable for someone over 5.9, our room was boiling hot with no way to cool it down, and they didn’t replace the toiletries. Also you have to pay extra to use different spa facilities which wasn’t clear, making the experience much less relaxing.

It was great. Particularly good having three restaurants. But I can be very picky. All about the breakfast. The coffee wasn't great. The bacon was underdone - it doesn't need to be really crispy but it does need a bit of brown to develop the flavour. The marmalade wasn't that good either.
One other thing, which I suspect may be common to all hotels these days. They wouldn't give me a paracetomol when I really needed one. Probably something to do with health and safety. But really?

Would highly recommend Carreys Manor, staff go out of their way to help. All 3 restaurants the food was excellent as were the pool and spa. The room faced the garden and was well appointed with modern bathroom and large smart tv and comfortable bed and furnishings. Can’t see why not 5 star.
