Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HotelsLovely hotel and room, very friendly reception staff. Had our meal in the pub part, which was excellent (food and service). However the wine in the hotel (not pub) was expensive and not that nice. I left the first glass, but waiter didn’t comment. Disappointing to be charged for breakfast, when only had the small cooked one, which was cheaper than the continental which was included in our package.

Everyone on the staff is excellent, and the food delicious. We have stayed before and will again. The gardens are a treat, so well looked after, and the gardener is such an asset, we had good conversations with him about his work, and his ethos for the garden, many ideas to take home.
