Room is just ok but comfortable. Parking was limited due areas being taped off. Had to park next door at the Waffle House.

When we were checking in an entire baseball team of 8 yrs old were also checking in. Brandy, the desk clerk, was professional, efficient, calm and very welcoming. She made the " first impression" a good one. A valuable employee for sure. I used to be in HR, she is a keeper. Karen Goetz

I like the location and quality of this hotel so it’s my choice when I’m in Lafayette. Normally, booking through Travelocity is a breeze but I’m a Wyndham honors member so I figured I’d call the hotel directly so I could earn points for my stay. The man I talked to was so rude and pushed so hard to charge me $60 more than using Travelocity that I filed a complaint with corporate.

This property is disorganized, disrespectful, and filthy. Our room had not been appropriately turned over after the person who previously rented it checked out early. There were feces splashes (as if from diarrhea) on and in the toilet, surfaces had not been wiped down, and sheets had not been changed. When we informed front desk staff of this, she took photos and called the general manager. The general manager then stated that we were being picky, that the front desk staff is not authorized to provide us with a new room or give us a refund, and that if we didn’t like it we could leave. So we left! We (my partner, our 13 year old daughter, our 22 year old son, and me) traveled via car from Texas after retrieving our son from his discharge from the army. It was late and we were exhausted. The general manager's total disregard for us, our child, and our new veteran was appalling. Lastly, there were 2 additional room charges posted to my credit card directly after this, in addition to another $35 fee. Shortly after this event my credit card was flagged for a fraud alert from two unauthorized transactions made that night. The general manger made herself unattainable as she answered no calls from me or Expedia to rectify the issue. Beware!
