Welcome to the Farmer's Inn

Farmer's Inn is a Fantastic Newly Furnished Four Bedroom, Two Bathroom Vacation Rental on the eastern border of Glacier National Park. There are Granite Counter tops in the bathrooms and kitchen. There is Air-Conditioning and Wi-Fi internet. There are TV's in the bedrooms and a 42 inch TV in the Living-Room. Cable is provided along with Blue Ray and the latest movies. There is a Combo Washer and Dryer in the house. Luscious Shower Gels, Lotions, Shampoo, and Soaps provided. There are also bath sheet towels, hair dryer, ironing board and I-Pod docking stations. Two large bedrooms have queen beds and the other bedrooms have full beds. There is a large parking area in the back of the house for boats, motor homes and bikes. The entrance to Glacier National Park is only 12 miles away and the famous Going-to-the Sun Highway is only 30 miles away. Farmer’s Inn makes a great base-camp for excursions into the pristine Glacier National Park wilderness.

We offer the convenience of being near Browning with access to Glacier Peaks Indian Casino, Native American Bank, ATM’s, Town Pump, Subway, Taco John’s, IGA grocery store, Plains Indian Museum, Blackfeet Heritage Art Gallery, and Post Office, but still close enough to Glacier and all the other wonderful activities and attractions. We are only two blocks away from the Glenn Heavy Runner Memorial All-Season Swimming Pool with Olympic size swimming pool, hot tub, saunas, and weight room. We are within walking distance of the new Glacier Family Foods/Super One store.

We offer newly furnished, comfortable, affordable lodging, just minutes away from the best views, fishing, hiking and lots more. Whether you are whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing the renowned Blackfeet Reservation lakes or in Glacier Park, summiting the surrounding peaks, hiking the picturesque Glacier Park 1000 miles of trails, horseback riding, attending the North American Indian Day Pow Wow in Browning, golfing, sightseeing on the scenic Going to the sun Road or hiking tribal lands, you can be certain that an adventure awaits you in Big Sky Country. Nice stay in Briwning
Plenty of room for our group of 5 adults. Older home that was very clean and well maintained. Well stocked kitchen. Convenient to Two Medicne and St Mary area of GNP. Owners Charles and Debbie were very nice. Only complaint was dogs roaming the area. They didn’t bother us at the house which had a nice fenced yard but I didn’t feel comfortable taking a walk away from the house.I would stay at thIs home again.

Lovely house but beware of neighbor's dogs.
The owners were very nice, and the accommodations were good too. My only concern were all the dogs that run loose in the streets in the town (no leash laws). They are everywhere. Our car was surrounded by them as we tried to drive up to the house (note these were the neighbor's dogs not the VRBO owners). We were afraid to get out of the car and would have left but there were no other openings for the night nearby. The VRBO owners call the neighbors to put the dogs inside so we could get into the house. They said this doesn't usually happen, but we only stayed one night and forfeited the rest of our stay taking no chances.

Great house and great location
We loved the house and the location to Glacier east side. Super clean and well stocked house and we loved the personal touch of fresh baked banana bread! We hiked the east side of glacier and was super easy to get to the entrances. We loved everything about our stay.

Owners very nice and easy communication. I’m not accustomed to the owner going in each day and tidying up or keeping watch on things. That has its pros and cons but we were safe, comfortable, no issues to report. The area is not all that nice but the house we stayed in is the most pristine in the neighborhood. The owners take great care of their property.

The renters were very friendly. By looking at the pictures on the VRBO site the inside of the rental was very clean and nice, but everything around the rental was very sketchy. The owner told us when we checked in to watch out for dogs roaming around the area that he didn’t think that they would bite us. Overall nice place, but very sketchy around the rental.

We stayed 5 nights at the Farmer’s Inn! The house was very comfortable. The owner was amazing! The owner provided us with fresh banana bread one day and cookies another day. The house was very clean and well appointed. The location was convenient to the east side entrances to Glacier NP. Five stars to Debbie!

Excellent place to stay in Browning
We have been staying at Farmers Inn since 2012 and really enjoy it for our trips to Browning and the surrounding area. The house is comfortable, clean, and very well maintained, and it feels spacious because of the four bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with all essential utensils and cookware, and a supermarket is conveniently located only a couple of blocks away. The owners, Charles and Debbie, live next door and are very accommodating if anything comes up. (And Debbie's baked goods are a real treat.) We also appreciate that there is a place to park vehicles and small trailers so that they are off the street. I anticipate that we will continue staying at the Farmers Inn for many years to come.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay. Even though our schedule changed at the last minute, Debbie was accommodating and personally helped us get situated. Her home was welcoming, clean, organized, and safe. After a particularly long day, we returned home to find an enormous plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies on the kitchen table with a personal note from Debbie. Are you kidding me? How sweet was that? If you choose to stay on the eastern side of Glacier, we highly recommend the Farmer's Inn.

Home has everything you could want.
We had five in our group and the home was perfect for us. We so appreciated the washer/dryer as well as well nicely stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The home was spotless. The Wi-fi can be spotty at night, but it was a nice benefit after hiking all day with no outside connection to the world. Debbie and Charles were the perfect hosts!

Gracious hosts with well maintained property near Glacier
Charles and Debbie were gracious hosts. We enjoyed our stay and visit to the area. We very much appreciated the brownies and cookies that Debbie baked as well as the housekeeping services. The property is well maintained and relatively close to Glacier National Park entrances (30 minutes to Two Medicine, 41 minutes to St. Mary, and 48 minutest East Glacier) and Waterton National Park in Canada (80 minute).

Debbie and Charlie Farmer were very gracious hosts. This VRBO home thad everything you could possibly need!! It had even more items than I do at my home!! We wanted to cut down on driving time, so we stayed a few days on East Glacier and some on West Glacier. I wish we had stayed longer at The Farmer's Inn! We all enjoyed the individual loaves of delious Banana Nut Bread. We hope to return in the future! Thanks for the memories...

Clean, Comfortable house
Very accommodating host who provides a clean, well maintained house with comfortable beds after our active days in Glacier National Park. I underestimated the distance to the park from Browning but seeing as it takes quite awhile to get anywhere in Montana, I should have expected as much! Only about 22 minutes to Two Medicine which is my personal favorite area of the park so that’s not bad. It is not often that a host leaves treats as a thank you for staying at their property! Thanks so much for the hospitality!

Perfect for East Glacier
We enjoyed our stay at Farmer’s Inn very much! This charming home had everything we needed and was very comfortable! We spent all our days going to Glacier NP. It was an easy drive to all the east side entrances. We even went to the park on the Canadian side. When we would return after a long day of hiking, we would find homemade treats for us! Such a wonderful surprise. We would recommend staying here.

The owner put a camera on the porch everyone that came or entered the house he came and questioned why they were there. Stood on the wall watching made the women feel violated. He peeked in the front door one am my father 92years old and brother just looked at him. worked in the yard daily whenever we were home to watch us, would not let us use the basketball which he listed. I had family fly from Alaska Arizona and us from Washington and my family left sat am they were very uncomfortable, so I had to reimburse them since they lost out on 3 days. the first day he would not let me change names that i sent in. I have rented from VRBO a lot and have not had this experience will never use. even cars parked on the street he had them move which one was mine I did not move it because of its city property not his. He then added a camera to the side of his rental to watch very creepy started watering every am 7 when we were in bed trying to enjoy our time off.

This is by far the best stays during our two weeks’ trip. The host Debbie is super friendly. The condition is mint and very comfortable. Noting to beat 4 bedrooms and two baths to spread out the family. During the early season most of Glacier National Park is on the east side and this location is so convenient to major east side attractions and not bad to the west side. Definitely would stay again if we revisit the park.

It’s a pleasant stay. Debbie made delicious chocolate cookies and banana bread cake. The house is very clean. The cons are: the neighborhood is sketchy. The master bedroom has washer and dryer in the closet, which makes master bedroom not an ideal room for a couple.
