Because it was the only establishment to be booked because of the event and the limited availability,i booked it. However i pray this is not taken negatively ,yet constructive. Even though the place needs major upgrades it would not be as noticeable if customer service were in place.

The rooms are beautiful and clean. Love the remodel. The beds are comfortable and staff very nice. We’ve stayed here every year of our family reunion for many years. Keep up the good work guys never change!

We tried to check in to our room after midnight. We were given a smoking room that was disgusting. One of the beds had hairs all in it and stains. There was trash left under the chair. We requested to move rooms, to see if there was a nonsmoking room. We were told there were no remaining rooms left, so we left but were told that I need to speak with the manager (Neely) in the morning for a refund/cancellation. When I called, Neely refused to speak with me and instead I spoke with Nil. Nil told me that the room was clean and refused to admit there was any issue. Nil refuses to refund us any of our money or make it right in anyway. I would NOT recommend this hotel or this service. I would rate this as ZERO stars if I was able to.

There was nothing wrong in the room and there was no trash under chair. You booked smoking room and you want nonsmoking room but we don't have any left over rooms. So my desk clerk didn't give you room. So you are complaining. I refunded money.

Room was okay, but ac was not working very well. It took a long time for the room to cool off. Older hotel with fairly recent remodel.

No problems with the property.Just room cost I was charged.I went 2book that room, the charge on Expedia Site,shown as $87.76(the exact price I am not able 2remember, but I know it was in the $83 2$88.range, not in the 100. range. Had it been 100 I would not have chosen this room/hotel. The only reason that I chose location on the fact that my wife I had been on the road since 8 AM Sat. morning it was near 5:30 pm when we decided 2stop check out Brownsville area. I knew that I had a credit of approx.$65 , since the room rate posted was in the $83 2 $88.range.I would take that room apply my credit on that location. Heck it was only one room with a queen size bed with private shower and restroom. When I saw my paid bill for $125. some change I was not a happy camper. I called Expedia Customer Service and tried 2get this resolved. All the Representative was interested in telling me how he was going to saw me that I was wrong that the room was Always $125. Not $83-$88range. After several attempts 2get him 2listen to what I was saying him NOT showing any signs of understanding, I admit that I lost my temper told him that I was canceling my subscription would NEVER use Expedia again.Had not been the only Snafu with reservation through Expedia. A week B4this snafu, on Friday 3rd of May 2024, we had book a room at Hampton Inn I was billed twice. Once by the Resort for $155 Expedia charged me $189. The snafu was fixed. Inn refunded $155 Expedia credit $48.Won’t use U agai.

We did stay this night Monday the 18 we ended up leaving I can cling stairs and they didn’t have any lower floor rooms is there anyway way I can get a refund
