Bei der Ankunft traute ich meinen Augen nicht. Es war eine einzige Baustelle. Kein Pool. Keine Liegen Kein Essensraum. Um 6 Uhr morgens kamen die Bauarbeiter, an Schlaf nicht mehr zu. Habe dann morgens um 10 Uhr direkt ausgecheckt mit den Worten des Hotels "Sorry" So etwas habe ich noch nie gehört oder gesehen. Da kann man einfach nicht in diesem Zeitraum vermieten. Eine Rückzahlung der restlichen 2 Tage ist ebenfalls nicht erfolgt weil wohl kein Bargeld im Hause ist. Einfach nur Schrecklich.

Affordable, nice pool, poor breakfast. Room not secure. No toilet paper, poor lighting, bathroom and towels dingy, closet broken and there is absolutely no sea view. A big ugly wall blocks the view. Not as beautiful as advertised. Nice that it’s used by mostly locals. Lots of places nearby to go to eat and drink. No bottle water given.

Very Very Poor Customer Service
Publié le 26 nov. 2019 sur HotelsBad customer service. AC and TV did not work. Staff came to assess but never came back. I had to go to the front desk 2 times to solve the situation which eventually required a room change. We had problems EVEN in the second room.

Live entertainment.
Negatives: AC and TV not working well at all. 2 people came to the room on separate occasions and looked at the problem but NEVER came back. I had to go to the office at least 2 times to complain. Evening front desk staff did not have a caring attitude. Mattresses not the best. They whole staff could use a course in hospitality and customer service.

Het hotel heeft een goede locatie. Het is maar 10 minuten verwijderd van het strand en van de uitgaansbuurt in Senegambia. De kamer was in goede staat. Het enige minpunt is dat men moet betalen voor airconditioning en deze om de haverklap uitviel in mijn kamer. Andere hotelgasten hadden hier geen last van blijkbaar was er een technische defect.
Het hotelpersoneel is uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Verder is het ontbijt uitgebreid en lekker. De aangeboden wifi is erg zwak of werkt helemaal niet. Ik ging vaak naar een strandbar als ik wifi nodig had.
Mijn verblijf was over het algemeen zeer goed. Vooral het warm onthaal en de aangeboden hulp van het personeel is uitstekend in dit hotel.

A Pleasant Place
Publié le 19 avr. 2016 sur HotelsMy work in West Africa takes me to a variety of hotels, mostly of the "value" variety. Seaview Gardens is a good example and I have stayed there several times. Very friendly staff, adequate restaurant with other eating options close by, nice pool and a short walk to the beach and nightlife if that's your thing. Perhaps the thing I like best is the sense of security the place offers. There is a new section that I find rather sterile and an older section that has some style to it. As in most African hotels of this kind there are the usual small irritations with electricity, older furniture, AC that's a bit dodgy, but overall, a pleasant place. This trip the Wifi was fine, but the internet provider was experiencing problems, so what is usually reliable service was not. I expect they will get it fixed soon, but it is not really the hotel's fault. There are bigger and better hotels in the area but you will pay considerably more. This is a serviceable, friendly place and I like it.
