Family get away
Publié le 10 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location and layout was great. The house had everything we needed to spend some relaxing time together whether we went to the beautiful Sandy beach or hung out at the house. We’re looking forward to booking our next trip for sure!

Lake Mac house
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayNice townhouse with a big kitchen and large dining room table. Beautiful view of Lake Mac. The walk to the Lighthouse is great. Nice gated development with plenty of parking for multiple vehicles on the side and back of the garages.

Extended family vaca @The Dunes

The beach was a beautiful walk or short drive and we spent every day soaking up the picturesque Sandhills and clean and sparkling beaches of Lake Maconaughy. The condo is well situated to travel back and forth for lunches or time outta the sun and back for and evening…
Everything we needed is supplied-all necessary kitchen appliances and cookware- a nice assortment of seasonings and wonderful dining table with a view… pellet fueled grill and fire table were nice additions- and there’s enough room on the deck to gather for games or conversation… the view is stunning… Good game selection and Wii games on the downstairs common area TV… Our hosts were very responsive and helpful…we would love to return in the future!

Good but not great

The closest store was 25 min away, which is fine, but would have been nice to know that in the listing description. Also, they did not provide soap or shampoo, which seems kind of a basic amenity, given the prices to rent it.
Overall, the place is very quiet and peaceful. There were just a few things they could improve upon.

Thank you so much for your review. We have added shampoo and soap in all the bathrooms. While we can’t fix the distance to Ogallala for groceries, we try to make up for it with experience at the lake. We would love to host you again soon.

Beautiful clean home in great location

Great Townhome!

Great stay
