The tacky place .
I did not stay in that room which was up stairs and I am a 70 year old woman and alone with a dog at the back of the dirty building with a trailer parked in the parking lot driving way and people living in the rooms around me. So stepping in the the room my shoes sound like I was sticking to the floor and the smell was terrible of old smoke and the bed spread had holes in it. So I hit the road and drove to Sarasota that night. To my own house with a clean bed and a nice smelling place .

There was no smoke alarm. There was black tape over the wires. There was no swing arm lock for the door. Pillows are awful. Duct tape around ajoining room door. The breakfast is good for the price of the room and room is clean. They just need to repair things. The owners are very nice . Sad that upkeep is getting ahead of them.

It was everything you need out of a cheap motel for a few nights. The beds were made, no cigarette smell, and a working heater in the room. They also provided complimentary breakfast which was very nice for the price. The only downside was the lack of housekeeping, I don't think they have a room service team.

This property is very old and there are no upgrades. The floors were recently washed but all other surfaces were dirty. The breakfast was very limited and low quality. There were not enough working electrical outlets for our needs, no alarm clock, wake up call never happened… will never stay again.

My room was cancelled by the hotel due to overbooking. The hotel didn't call me but just texted me a few hours earlier while I was driving towards it, so I didn't know until I drove all the way there. If the hotel could give me a call about the cancellation, it can save me hours of driving time.

I have to rate low due to cockroach infestation. German cockroach’s all over my room when I woke up. The manager agreed to give me a refund for the remaining of my stay. I was staying for several nights (13) due to military duty and decided to stay w friend when this happened. Thankful they refunded me all but the night I stayed w the dirty nasty sickly bugs…

The hotel was good ,especially for families
Because of the hurricane our original hotel had no power and was cancelled. After an almost 2 hr. phone call with hotels.com at our request ,they switched us to this one.Hotels.com tried to charge me more than double per room than _ooking.com . When I said no, give me my money back. They gave each room to me for the money I had paid already for the Super 8. Why did they put me on hold and pass me off to another person so many times? How many people gave up and just booked a new room and lost their original money? I'm sure we weren't the only ones affected by the hurricane. Instead of jumping in and helping,Hotels.com made it tedious and difficult and tried to price gouge. Only because I persisted did they do the right thing in the end.
