Fantastic getaway in Door County

Pleasant Stay
Publié le 11 août 2023 sur HomeAwayEnjoyable, quiet, comfortable stay with wonderful view. Enjoyed our morning walks on Bayshore Rd. Shore at the rental was great for launching our kayak. Sunsets are very nice from the entire property...including the upstairs bathroom.

Cannot say that much for the beach!!
We had 2 sets of visitors on "private" beach!
Stairs should be noted more in description, they are made for younger people, stairs to upstairs bedroom are very steep and long!!
Dog pee smell in living room, so we put the doggie bed outside!!
Sewer smell around house and on beach!!
Property is very remote to restaurants, etc!!

We're very sorry to hear that this guest wasn't completely satisfied with their stay, but not surprised. This guest was attempted to cancel their stay the night before check-in, which unfortunately we were not able to accommodate due to the short notice. After that, the guest was clearly upset, and made it known through the stay.
We were at the house mere hours after he checked out, and found no smells of any kind. We had a neighbor come in to the house to make sure that we weren't "nose blind" to a smell and they reported nothing inside or outside the house.
It's such a shame that this guest couldn't get the relaxation from his stay that our many other guests have! We hope that whatever is going wrong in his life improves soon! We look forward to hosting guests who are here to find the peace and relaxation that we find every time we're here! Book with confidence future guests!

Once Again

Excellent Accommodations for the Pups!

Very relaxing!
