Publié le 13 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayI hadn't been in a camper like this before. Very roomy. Loved being able to sit on deck. Watched the train, birds and fishermen. Very relaxing. Host very kind to work with me on an issue. Would book again. Don't hesitate!

RV on the River
Publié le 1 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayGood location if you are going on the train ride. RV was nice with comfortable bed. You hear traffic on the main road of course but it wasn’t loud at all. RV well stocked with anything you could need. Fun to feed ducks and geese from deck. Pretty view of river.

Awesome getaway
Publié le 12 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayAny issue we had with getting air on to an alarm going off Shannon was readily available. We really loved the camper it was spacious and was so much better than staying in a hotel/motel. Only issue was Hurricane Helene. Which was no means the hosts fault. The camper had to be moved to higher ground, had issues once they moved with power not staying on until people at campground got it back on...the river really flooded and even though we were moved to higher ground the water was very high..the town turned off all water and it was time for us to leave. Yes we would stay again.

You guys were troopers. We have been through a couple of floods ourselves. It is truly an adventure. Not many people can say they rode out a 1000 year flood!!!!

I highly recommend this property for a quiet getaway, listening to the River was wonderful and watching all the wildlife was awesome! Definitely will return!

Short Get-away
Publié le 7 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I had a wonderful stay at this cozy little camper on the river. The campground was clean and other campers were friendly. Quiet time (10pm to 7am) was thoughtfully observed. Plenty of space for 2 people and our two little dogs.
