Excellent. Highly recommend! The Treehouse sweet was amazing, super clean. Has everything you could possibly need. Great balcony view. Only regret is we didn't stay longer!

This very old home converted, it appears, to a number of separate rentals, was very unique! Tho we arrived late at night to leave mid morning we didn't leave much time to explore the full character of this home. Thank you for the speedy and professional responses.

Although brief, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. The Calhoun House was actually built originally as a hotel in 1920 with all the most modern amenities of the time. In 2006 we took it down to the studs and put in all modern kitchens, plumbing, electric and HVAC in each of our 5 suites. Hopefully you can return soon when you’ll have more time to enjoy Bryson City and this unique property with all its charm and convenience.

Every guest at the Calhoun House arrives to a fully stocked kitchen, including coffee, tea and food in the fridge. ‘Just like home’ is exactly our goal for every guest experience.

Ed greeted us the first evening and the property and room were wonderful, quiet, convenient and comfortable!

Publié le 21 avr. 2024 sur HotelsSadly we were only there for 1 night. We wish our trip was for a couple so we could have enjoyed more of Bryson City and the Calhoun’s hotel. So very quaint! Lovely big porch with rocking chairs. The morning we checked out it was raining. So we sat on the porch drinking coffee and listening to the rain.

With 2500 square feet of covered porches, it’s always a great stay at the Calhoun House, rain or shine.
