We stayed at the Eagles Nest Hideaway over our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The views are specular, very private location, the home is wonderfully maintained, and had everything we'd hoped for to make this a special time. Stuart is a terrific host. We highly recommend for anyone looking for a great get away in the mountains.

Spectacular views, quiet and beautiful!
Magnificent views! I wanted mountain views and boy did I get them! You can see miles and miles of mountain tops! You go up and up and up the mountain until you reach the top for the fantastic views. Breathless!! The cabin is super clean and comfortable in all aspects. The kitchen has everything you can possibly need and then some. The beds are comfortable. Our teens loved the pool table and the indoor tub and the outdoor too LOL. Watching and listening the autumn leaves fall was mesmerizing. We didn't want to leave. We saw birds, a squirrel and some turkeys down the mountain, no bears though. If you are looking for a beautiful, super clean, and comfortable cabin with amazing views look no further, this is it!

Cabin made the experience!
We were so taken with the amazing view when we arrived and enjoyed time at the cabin! The cabin was what we hoped for our family of 6 to enjoy four days in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin and grounds were very nicely taken care of. Nothing left to be desired.

This is our second stay at Eagle’s Nest. The initial impact of this magical spot high above the gorge doesn’t lessen with each visit. It always blows us away. The beds are so comfortable and the house is well stocked. We look forward to returning.

Where to begin.. Beautiful sunrises. Welcoming & comfortable deck. Clean living quarters with well kept surroundings. Everything that a "cook" would need in the kitchen. Being semi reliant on "internet", I was impressed with the streaming capabilities. Quiet neighborhood. Located close enough to the "city" and casino for day trips. Owner was responsive to ensure that we had found everything to our liking. Will definitely consider for future rentals.

Eagles Nest Hideaway is the best
Truly an outstanding experience again at Eagles Nest Hideaway. The property is simply outstanding. Unbelievable views. Very clean house. Well furnished and fully stocked kitchen. Stuart is incredibly communicative and easy to work with. Painfully easy check-in & out procedures. Fully intend to book future stays as the experience is top of the line. This is a mountain house at its best (including some interesting sights along the drive up). If you’re thinking about going, do yourself a favor and book it (unless it’s a time period when I’m thinking about going!). All around best experience we’ve had with a rental house (and remarkably each return visit seems to get better).

What a beautiful place!
We loved the Eagle’s Nest! It was clean and very well appointed. From the deck, the fire pit, and the hot tub, we took advantage to all of the outdoor spaces. We even saw a sunrise! The inside is just as perfect- comfy living room with a big TV, nice bedrooms, and a game room. We hiked and explored the parks during the day, and then relaxed at the house each evening. Perfect way to spend the week! Thanks for everything!

We had our microwedding at Eagles Nest Cabin!
My husband and I just had our wedding with 10 guests at Eagles Nest Cabin in mid-April 2024 and it was a dream! The porch was a perfect space for our rentals vendor to set up gorgeous long tables for our family to celebrate with us after our ceremony in-front of the wooden railing, overlooking the gorgeous mountain view. The owner, Stuart, was very accommodating and communicative, allowing us to feel very comfortable and secure in hosting our most special day. Since we were staying where our venue is, it also saved us in lodging/venue fees by combining both. This is a perfect romantic mountain stay and place to host an event.

Absolutely stunning cabin with incredible view! Extremely close to numerous activities such as hiking and rafting. Cabin has wonderful amenities, the drive up the mountain is a little nerve wracking but we made it up in a Hyundai Elantra. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. The pictures, believe it or not don’t do it justice, the cabin is simply stunning! Can’t wait to return to Eagles Nest!

This is the best cabin. We have been coming to Bryson City for 20+ years and have stayed at many different cabins. The cabin is everything as described. Great internet and cell service. Important for us as we work remotely. The cabin is well stocked, I bought spices for cooking and they actually had every spice you could imagine so we left ours for someone else to use. Stuart has been amazing to work with. We will definitely be booking again. Everything about the cabin gets 5 stars. Thank you for sharing this beautiful cozy cabin 😀

Christmas Dream
Cabin was decorated for the holidays, which felt so special when we walked in. Very clean and the cabin has a welcoming feel. We were so relaxed the entire time we were there. We made great memories playing pool, doing puzzles and going downtown to eat and shop for fudge. We’ll be back to the cabin for a third visit next year.
