No Frills?

The only things we saw as "no-frills" were that it was older and not cookie-cutter, but refurbished; and that the room did not have a blow dryer...two things we could live without! As a family-owned motel, the staff was the very personable family. It was minutes to the train, restaurants, storytelling, hiking, and Bryson City downtown; but better yet it has the river for a backyard! Maybe the "No-Frills" is the reasonable price.

The room and bathroom were small and we found a worm crawling on the wall. We came back to room after going to dinner and there had been nothing done to the room. Bed was unmade and no clean wash cloths or towels.
