Wonderful historic escape
Posted Aug. 11, 2024 on HomeAwayWe very much enjoyed our stay at this exceptionally restored log cabin. The kids loved splashing in the creek and smores over the fire. We watched the summer afternoon rains storms from the front porch while the kids giggled dancing in the rain. Would come again!!

Idyllic Getaway
Posted Jun. 8, 2024 on HomeAwayAbsolutely perfect stay. Everything is exactly as pictured. The bed is so comfortable, the shower and tub are divine. The creek is cool and refreshing. Bring firewood and charcoal, paper plates if you don't want a lot of dishes. Bring a good book and enjoy the view from the front porch. Lay under the stars. Relax. You are completely disconnected no service at all.

Perfect Getaway
Posted Apr. 9, 2024 on HomeAwayThis was just what we needed. It was nice to unplug for a few days and just enjoy our family with no distractions. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We made s’mores on the fire and cooked steaks on the grill. There is a lot of things to do within a short distance.

Off the grid perfection!
Posted Feb. 18, 2024 on HomeAwayWhat a great family getaway! We enjoyed exploring the property, many hours at the bonfire, fishing in the streams, and morning coffee on the wraparound porch. The rustic cabin had all the essentials you could need and was a comfortable stay. We have four young children and it fit the bill great. We really enjoyed having no cell phone service. The satellite TV was nice to watch a movie one evening as a family otherwise we didn’t turn it on because we were outdoors all hours in the rain.

Beautiful and Cozy
Posted Dec. 14, 2023 on HomeAwayWe absolutely loved this cabin, especially how the restoration was done in a very respectful way to the original. I booked the weekend as a surprise trip for my fiancé who loves historic houses/cabins and he was in heaven. We spent most of our time relaxing and enjoying the absence of cell service. The front porch was a great place to enjoy my morning cup of tea. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had brought a few cooking supplies from home as we were unsure what would be available, but we didn't need any of it, everything was already provided. We will definitely be back.

Cabin in the woods
Posted Oct. 22, 2023 on HomeAwayThis place was so peaceful. Story book setting. The perfect to disconnect from everything & connect w/ loved ones. The decor was great & the beds were cozy. Everything we expected it to be.
