très bien mais isolé
Publié le 19 mars 2015 sur HotelsL’hôtel est parfait pour un 3 étoiles mais une voiture et un GPS sont indispensables pour s'y rendre depuis l'aéroport international.

Sufficient for a single night but isolated
Publié le 21 sept. 2017 sur HotelsThis hotel is in the middle of nowhere and seems very uninhabited. I got it because it was cheap and was near the airport, but it's near the wrong airport for international flights. My mistake. But it's very hard to reach unless you have a cab or car. Not much in the area, a starbucks and a couple of small restaurants, and two grocery stores a few minutes away. It was very clean, just empty, and the clerk was the only person in Romania I met who could not speak English. Thus I could not ask for a wake up call. This is probably a "love hotel," where lovers meet for illicit trysts. Overall it's a bit creepy and I would not suggest it for single women. If you want a hotel near the airport for an early flight, make sure you book for the right airport!

You get what you paid for

Pour : Sheets and towels looked cleaned
Contre : Smell, moisture on walls
Emplacement : 10 Min from Airport
10 Min from shopping mall
1 min next to coffee or any commodities
Really expected a better hotel than what I stayed in.
First - The hotel has a ''humid'' or ''water', smell that is unpleasing. In the part room we had (living room, bedroom and washroom) each had a different bad smell. I even took picture of moisture and deterioration on the walls.
Second: I took the room with a queen and twin bed... the twin bed was a Folding rolling bed. It's actually not a twin bed but a single bed and not really comfortable.
Third: Part of the Hotel is renovated but some is still old style (like the curtains and the red carpet)
Globally, Pay 20$ more and go somewhere else. If you're on a REALLY tight budget then you can go.

주변이 조용한 호텔
Publié le 3 juin 2017 sur Hotels오래된 호텔 중 하나로 리프트가 없음.
그러나, 직원들은 친절하고 깨끗하게 관리되어 있었음.
주변이 조용하고 마트를 도보로 이용할 수 있어서 좋았음.

Ok for a night. Nice room interiors. Hard bed
Publié le 11 sept. 2015 sur HotelsThe hotel is a few KM from the airport if you have a rented car it will be convenient to stop there before an early leave. The area is not "great" per se but there are shops nearby. The lobby/entrance area is not that great, there is no elevator. However once entered the room it was very nice clean modern, just renovated, with working AC, so all great, worth 4/5 . Beds were too hard very thin materass.. quite disappointing.

Good place to stay close to the airport.

Pour : Nice & clean room. Good price. Close to the Airport. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful.
Contre : Needs an elevator, or staff willing to assist with luggage.
Emplacement : Starbucks, small strip mall with a café and market next door. 24 hour supermarket within walking distance. Safe, quiet residential neighborhood.
My wife is Romanian. We travelled to visit her family and stayed at Hotel Ancor prior to flying home. The first night was great. We arrived to a friendly desk clerk. She was helpful and allowed us to book an extra night at a discounted rate. The rooms are clean and nice. The desk clerk the second night, however, wasn't nearly as friendly or helpful. I noticed she had been there for almost 24 hours though. My wife says this is normal for Romanian hotels though. That the staff will work 24 hour shifts. I guess I wouldn't be as friendly if I had to work 24 hours straight either. Overall, a nice hotel. Nothing really around the hotel other than residential housing, a Starbucks and couple of restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel definitely needs an elevator or more helpful staff. We were in Romania for 2 weeks with our infant son and we had a lot of luggage and a stroller. They had us on the 3rd floor. It was not fun getting all of my luggage down 3 stories without an elevator or any hotel assistance.
