We were not allowed in because the cleaning people had not finished!...... we were wet, cold and tired. We had to store our luggage at a separate location while we were stuck outside. Finally get in and there was a leak in the kitchen. Yes they came to fix but we walked in water for day 1. Then they want us to leave the apartment clean but there were NO cleaning supplies. No sponges, wash cloths etc. The decor was pretty, the location was not good. Mostly upset about the poor procedure for getting in an apartment I had already paid for. I would not have had to pay for storage if they let us in on time. If I don't get some sort of compensation I will NEVER use VRBO again.

As we informed you before your arrival, the apartment wasn’t ready due to an issue with a previous reservation, which delayed our preparation. However, we did our best to give you access as soon as possible. We also advised in advance that early check-in couldn't be guaranteed since our calendar was open for potential bookings. To ensure a morning arrival, an early check-in request would have been necessary at the moment you booked, this service might include extra charges for blocking the previous day.
Regarding the cleaning supplies, they were delivered shortly after your request. The leak you mentioned was fixed promptly as well. As for the location, you had a general idea of the area before booking, and this factor was chosen with your consent.
