I'm from the south and I was cold the first night.

I realize that energy is expensive, however, entering the house with one heater set to low was inadequate. It was 42 degrees outside when I arrived and I could not appreciate any warmth as I entered the house. Without my heating pad, I would have suffered the first night. It took until the next morning for the house and furnishings to warm adequately. I expected the house to be at least 65 degrees inside on arrival. There's absolutely no way that it was near that level of comfort the first night.

Thank you for the feedback! We're really sorry you weren't comfortable when you arrived but we never received any messages at all from you during your stay concerning arrival time or to let us know you needed more heat. There are three strong heating units downstairs and another upstairs that heat up the small house quickly and there is also even a wood stove for guests that want wood heat. All the instructions are in our House Manual and we would have been happy to respond if you had reached out to us. If you we knew you were arriving late, we could have turned it up for you.

Master bed on 2nd floor, with bathroom on first - let those kids do the steps in the middle of the night! Needless to say, we used separate beds on the first floor.
Otherwise, great accommodations.

Villiage House

It was kind of boring, and we tried to find the beach or something to do and there really wasn't too much. We wished we had brought some games or something to do. The owners and managers were very nice and super helpful.
