We've had five incredible nights at Saudafell Guesthouse. It felt like home. The owners are very kind., each morning they served a more than complete breakfast and gave us plenty of information about the area, tips and tops and also about their lives in this beautiful country.
We felt very welcome and will surely be back one day.

Beautiful farmhouse, lovely hosts, delicious breakfast. Try to arrive in daylight, as after dark its more difficult to find the guesthouse. We accidentally knocked on the hosts' personal door.

The owners were so kind, and it was such a beautiful property. The shower was pretty big, the first big shower I’d seen on my trip. Breakfast was yummy, they made us homemade breads.

We had such a great time conversing with the hosts and learning about Iceland history and culture. The farmhouse is beautifully decorated and well equipped. We truly enjoyed our stay.

This was an amazing place to stay! The host was incredible welcoming and kind. We enjoyed the view as we had our evening tea on the deck - watching the sheep. AMAZING place - highly recommend!

An amazing guesthouse experience. Your hosts are generous and kind, and the house is a jewel set in a beautiful farmland context. See the sheep come up to the deck; cast your eye at the small historic cemetary. One of my favourite stays in Iceland!
