Good location, Poor Stay
Publié le 2 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had trouble communicating with the host to receive instructions on how to check in, the person who lived at the location checked us in, not the host
The unit has a smell, strongest in the bathroom
The bedding seemed unchanged from whoever was there before us
We stayed one night and found a bed bug in the morning
Let the host know and he said he would change the bedding and spray the room
He only changed the bedding in one room, we found another bed bug in the second bed and left that night
We booked 3 nights and only stayed one, had to find a hotel for the next and came home early

It was a pleasure hosting cindy's mom n son ,they r very friendly n was nice to communicate n meet up with them. Awesome guest and kept the room clean 👍would definitely love to host them again anytime and recommend them to other hosts 😊

Room has Bed bugs
Publié le 13 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe communication was great however the property has bed bugs he sprayed while we were there and offered us another free night but my daughter received so many bites and we also seen the bed bugs on the sheets… it is however close to Disney, knott's berry farm, shopping and restaurants

Thanks dorothy! you guys are awesome as well. welcome back anytime when in town . sorry for any inconvinience caused n yes the bed bug issue was inspected by a professional x-terminator company n taken care right away as per ur advise , I agree they found couple n d inspector mentioned it was good to be taken care right away before it spread as he said previous guests might hv brought in d luggage or so but it's all good n thanks for ur cooperations.

Bed bugs, bad smell, not clean, and uncomfortable beds
Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhen we first got there we noticed immediately that the house had a really unpleasant smell. We went to open the windows to air it out and the windows and window sills were all really dirty and some windows didn’t open. We then noticed that the house in general didn’t seem that clean. It seemed like it had had a light cleaning but really needed a deep clean and hadn’t had one in a long time. The two beds didn’t have mattress covers and the smaller, full sized was so hard and uncomfortable that my partner and I ended up going to a hotel instead. Our friends still stayed here, but it seems like the place had bed bugs as one of them is now covered in bites.

sorry to hear that u didn't hv a pleasant stay n yes I agree d smell was due to burnt popcorns in microwave by previous guests n I hv been able to get rid of that smell slowly n gone by now , the place is listed at a very cheaper rate like 77 - 97/night basically fr sleepn go purposes only which many guests love n goal is to provide clean linens n bedding ,towels n other basic amenities as we hardly make $30/night in profit after all kinds city n income taxes n other utility n other expenses so some guests who understand this never complain on lil things n not sure where did u get bed bugs from as I hv never ever had single complain fr bed bugs in my whole 7 + years of rental history ..it might hv been mosquito bite if u leave d patio door open there r chances of flies to get in.

Electricity usage monitored by Host. Horrible Smells
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayI will start off by saying that this property should not be listed on VRBO in the condition that it is in. The host leaves your key hanging outside by the air conditioner and while that’s OK I wonder if anyone else might have a copy to the key And now it becomes a security issue while you are sleeping. The first thing I noticed was the loud neighbors to the left door of this particular two bedroom unit. The people there were in party mode maybe because it was Friday night. As soon as you enter the front door a very nasty musty foul smell hit you in the face and in total darkness flipping the switch activates the ceiling fans so you have to blindly figure out how to pull the cords on the ceiling fan to turn on the light. My recommendation is to check in before sundown so you can see your way around the place. The second thing that Hit you in the face is how hot the place is so I decided to turn on the AC and go get some dinner, by the time we came back the temperature was still at 85° and super hot so I contacted the host and he said that he turned off the air conditioner because we are not allowed to have air conditioning if we are not in the room and he also turned off all the lights because we are not allowed to leave any lights on if we step out of the room. None of this is described in the description of the listing So I decided to leave and find another place to stay at. This place I left untouched and I just walked out and never came back. Host refused to refund.

ace's review itself shows what a baby he is , cant even figure out to turn on d lights as everything is on sensor lights when u walk in rt by d entry door n very easy to operate ..yes d keys were left out fr guest convenience fr self checkin n d owner n family lives on d property n its a safe family oriented neighborhood n nobody dares to just walk in with duplicate keys n never ever happens in my 7+ years of rental history n the smell was due to previous guest who burnt popcorns on d microwave which I hv been trying to get rid of n its gone by now..ace just wanted to party wide frnds n since owner leaves on property n he couldn't do that he finds a way to complain n he succeeded in getting full refund n yes it clearly says in d description to turn off lights n specially a/c as its priced very cheap within 90/night fr sleep n go purposes only n not to misuse of any kinds as we hardly make $30/night after all kinds of taxes n expenses which some people like u don't understand n misuse d place as if u hv bought it so guests like u r not at all welcomed back.

Great place for a sightseeing California trip
