Room has Bed bugs
Publié le 13 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe communication was great however the property has bed bugs he sprayed while we were there and offered us another free night but my daughter received so many bites and we also seen the bed bugs on the sheets… it is however close to Disney, knott's berry farm, shopping and restaurants

Bed bugs, bad smell, not clean, and uncomfortable beds

We went to open the windows to air it out and the windows and window sills were all really dirty and some windows didn’t open. We then noticed that the house in general didn’t seem that clean. It seemed like it had had a light cleaning but really needed a deep clean and hadn’t had one in a long time. The two beds didn’t have mattress covers and the smaller, full sized was so hard and uncomfortable that my partner and I ended up going to a hotel instead. Our friends still stayed here, but it seems like the place had bed bugs as one of them is now covered in bites.

sorry to hear that u didn't hv a pleasant stay n yes I agree d smell was due to burnt popcorns in microwave by previous guests n I hv been able to get rid of that smell slowly n gone by now , the place is listed at a very cheaper rate like 77 - 97/night basically fr sleepn go purposes only which many guests love n goal is to provide clean linens n bedding ,towels n other basic amenities as we hardly make $30/night in profit after all kinds city n income taxes n other utility n other expenses so some guests who understand this never complain on lil things n not sure where did u get bed bugs from as I hv never ever had single complain fr bed bugs in my whole 7 + years of rental history ..it might hv been mosquito bite if u leave d patio door open there r chances of flies to get in.

Electricity usage monitored by Host. Horrible Smells
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayI will start off by saying that this property should not be listed on VRBO in the condition that it is in. The host leaves your key hanging outside by the air conditioner and while that’s OK I wonder if anyone else might have a copy to the key And now it becomes a security issue while you are sleeping. The first thing I noticed was the loud neighbors to the left door of this particular two bedroom unit. The people there were in party mode maybe because it was Friday night. As soon as you enter the front door a very nasty musty foul smell hit you in the face and in total darkness flipping the switch activates the ceiling fans so you have to blindly figure out how to pull the cords on the ceiling fan to turn on the light. My recommendation is to check in before sundown so you can see your way around the place. The second thing that Hit you in the face is how hot the place is so I decided to turn on the AC and go get some dinner, by the time we came back the temperature was still at 85° and super hot so I contacted the host and he said that he turned off the air conditioner because we are not allowed to have air conditioning if we are not in the room and he also turned off all the lights because we are not allowed to leave any lights on if we step out of the room. None of this is described in the description of the listing So I decided to leave and find another place to stay at. This place I left untouched and I just walked out and never came back. Host refused to refund.

ace's review itself shows what a baby he is , cant even figure out to turn on d lights as everything is on sensor lights when u walk in rt by d entry door n very easy to operate ..yes d keys were left out fr guest convenience fr self checkin n d owner n family lives on d property n its a safe family oriented neighborhood n nobody dares to just walk in with duplicate keys n never ever happens in my 7+ years of rental history n the smell was due to previous guest who burnt popcorns on d microwave which I hv been trying to get rid of n its gone by now..ace just wanted to party wide frnds n since owner leaves on property n he couldn't do that he finds a way to complain n he succeeded in getting full refund n yes it clearly says in d description to turn off lights n specially a/c as its priced very cheap within 90/night fr sleep n go purposes only n not to misuse of any kinds as we hardly make $30/night after all kinds of taxes n expenses which some people like u don't understand n misuse d place as if u hv bought it so guests like u r not at all welcomed back.

Great place for a sightseeing California trip
Publié le 8 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMe and my friends really enjoyed staying here for a weekend wedding, it was really close to the John Wayne airport and knots berry farm as well as plenty of fast food around and shopping

It was a pleasure hosting mr. colby n group , all are very friendly n was nice to communicate n meet up with them . Awesome people and kept the rooms clean 👍would definitely love to host them whenever they are back in town and recommend them to other hosts 😊

However this is more like a suite off of the owners home with 2 bedrooms separated by a door and a microwave stand. There was a persistent oder from the bathroom anytime the water was run. Hot water was short and for 3 of us someone took a cold shower. For the price and a short stay it would be a good stay not for a 7 day as we had planned.

hello Rachel ! thanks for d good compliments for d host , yes the place is listed exactly as in d descriptions as you mentioned , good fr sleep n go purposes with total privacy fr guests in their own section of d house mainly fr people to come n crash after their long day visit to theme parks ,beaches,sightseeing or work related n its listed fr a very affordable price in this prime location fr low budget guests who really appreciate what is provided.

Cleanliness of the unit was unacceptable. There were stains on the sheets and lamp. Place had a persistent bad odor that would not go away. Shower floors were slimy and the shower had a strong sewer smell. Bathroom lock did not work properly.
Rooms were just a section in the house and door leading to main part of the house was only blocked by a small table with a small refrigerator and microwave on it.
Very noisy due to owners living in main area of the house and them renting another area.
