balade à Bukit Lawang
Publié le 25 juill. 2019 sur HotelsNous avons passé 3 nuits à BW (une de trop). Notre bungalow était très grand mais pas en très bon état. Pas de douche (seau) ni d'eau chaude, mais il fait de toute façon très chaud... Le batiment principal est magnifique et notre guide (Felix) très professionnel. Cela nous a paru assez cher dans l'ensemble.

Yes.. as you knew the weather at this region is not cold this is the main reason we didn't complete our room with hot shower. Thank you for your information regarding of room condition, surely its will be our special attention to upgrade.

Dear Mr. Raney..Thank you for writing us your honest opinion about Ecolodge Bukit Lawang.Yes.. there is no AC and we committed will not install Air Conditioner in the rooms to not involve in waste energy but actually we have good internet connection ( wi-Fi in our restaurant ). There is no TV in our rooms. The idea is trying to invite people to come to enjoy green around us, seems its much better than just stay in the room watching tv ( According to us ).There are 2 security posts in our hotel, if you ask for security when you here of course we will very happy to show you our security post & Staff Thank you

Great stay beautiful area very clean

Very beautiful view of river and food was so good and affordable, we never wanted to go off site to eat anywhere else. Wish we couldve stayed longer. Power goes out time to time but never more than 2 mins, all part of the area. So beautiful and relaxing and lots of monkeys around. Wifi only in lounge/restaurant

Wir hatten einen unglaublich schönen Aufenthalt in der Ecolodge. Besonders die Lage und die damit einhergehenden Ausflüge waren überragend. Die Atmosphäre dort ist unbeschreiblich, man fühlt sich wie mitten in der Natur. Wir können jedem nur empfehlen ein paar Tage dort zu verbringen.

Lovely place! Super clean and comfortable with really nice common spaces. Food was okay, nothing special but not bad - really enjoyed breakfast and it’s a good location.

Publié le 17 janv. 2020 sur Hotels2020/1に5泊しました（2泊延泊）。部屋はバンガロー形式と、建設中の2階建コンクリ造りの棟があり、当初はバンガローだったのですが諸事情で棟の方へ変更してもらいました。建設中ですが、完成した部屋からあてがっているようです。1階の部屋はテラスがありますが柵など何もなく通行人から丸見えなので、洗濯物を干すならバルコニーがある2階が良いと思います。バスルームはシャワーカーテンでトイレと仕切ることができ、シャワーはお湯が使えます。アメニティは手洗いで使うソープのみです。ドア横の窓やバルコニーの扉は、風を通すように斜めの格子？状になっていますが閉められないので、虫が気になる方はベープなどあらかじめ用意するのがいいと思います。ベットには蚊帳がついています。クーラーなしのファンのみですが、寝れないことはありませんでした（時季もあるかもしれません）。
スタッフはみんなフレンドリーで、顔を合わせると必ず挨拶してくれ、「ありがとう」というと「サマサマ〜（どういたしまして）」と笑顔で応えてくれるのがいつも心地良かったです。周辺に飲食店はありますが若干遠いので、夜ご飯はいつもここのレストランで食べましたが、メニューも多くおしゃれな盛り付け、味も美味しく飽きることはなかったです（MI SOP AYAMオススメ！）。レセプション棟（レストランもここにある）の2階はオープンスペースで、トレッキング後うだうだしたり、やって来る野良猫を観察したり、川を眺めながら気持ちの良い時間を過ごせます。Wi-Fiは激遅でレセプション棟でしか使えないので注意。
ブキットラワンに来る人はオランウータントレッキングが目的だと思いますが、野良ガイドには注意して下さい。私達は街の入口からついて来られ、断っても、チェックイン後もずっと見張られ、結局かなり安くで提案してきたので根負けし1DAYトレッキングを申し込みましたが消化不良で終わりました。満足できずエコロッジで1DAYを申し込むと（なので延泊した）、ガイドとアシスタントが二人つき、常に他のガイドと携帯で連絡を取り合ってオランウータンがいまどこにいるか情報共有していて、結果6頭のオランウータンを見ることができ、人生で一番近くで観察することができました。何よりも嬉しかったのは、ガイドがここからの方が良い写真が撮れると誘導してくれたり、オランウータンの詳細な説明をしてくれたり、冗談を交えて盛り上げてくれたり、私達を常に楽しませてくれようとしたことです。本当に良い時間を過ごせました。勿論ガイドの性格にもよるし、自然界のことなので動物が見られるのも運だというのもありますが、私の経験からエコロッジでのツアー申し込みをオススメしたいです（エコロッジで申し込むと、ツアー前日の夜にレストランでどんな動物が見たいかなど事前ミーティングをしてくれるので安心できます。）
田舎のロッジなので、虫が多い、Wi-Fiが遅い、電気が止まる（すぐつきます）、ぬるま湯のシャワー（5泊目だけ）、などはご愛嬌です。部屋で川の流れの音を聞きながら、ファンの風でごろごろして過ごすのは至福のひとときでした。

The Ecolodge is a nice place to stay on the border of the Leuser forest. The food is quite hit and miss; the western food is particularly ropey and really needs changing - we don't all like cheap, sweet white bread and chicken sausages! The rooms are basic but nice with mosquito nets and hot showers. The staff are friendly and helpful.
