It’s a 5 min. walk from the cottage down to the water’s edge to soak up the serene beauty of Bull Shoals Lake. Right outside your doorstep you’ll often be greeted by deer grazing around unaffected by your presence. Bull Shoals Marina offers affordable boat rentals just down the road. Come take part in the world class trout fishing the White River has to offers. Boat access is only 5 minutes away and there are numerous guides to choose from in the area. We look forward to welcoming you to our clean and comfortable home away from home.

What a cute little cottage! It was perfect location close to White River, grocery store and restaurants. Two couples stayed in this cottage- great for two night stay. Got to see several wildlife just outside the cottage! Would recommend

This is a very nice place to stay. It is a modern cabin, nicely remodeled, decorated. Has WiFi and Roku TV. Nice kitchenette. Close to Lake, River, and State Park. Very good value.

The lady in the cottage next door lived there as a permanent resident. She feeds the deer, raccoon and skunks out her front door. So be cautious if you come home at dark. We were meet by skunks more than once. Luckily never got sprayed

Perfect for a solo traveler or small family.
Location is great and very close to White River Access or the lake. It is a small cottage but does everything it needs to do and very comfortable. Communication was great with answers to questions very quickly. Thank you for a great stay!

This cute little cottage had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. We enjoyed how it was a short walk to the lake & within a short driving distance to White River State Park. It was decorated nicely, clean, & comfortable. The owner was friendly & responds quickly. Check in & out process was very easy. We would definitly stay here again!

Trout heaven
This is our 2nd visit in six months. Very clean, comfortable accommodations. Linsey is a great host. We did spectacular catching trout on the White River thanks to our long term guide David Talor from Sore Lip'm out of Heber Springs. We stay three nights and will continue to do this two to three times a year for years down the road. Also the cottage is within 2 miles of great food, the 178 club and Bush's Pizza. Can't wait to go back.

Enjoyed our stay at this little cottage. Was nice to each have our own bedroom. Was exactly what we needed for our short stay. Loved the deer right outside our cottage and the proximity to everything we needed! Will plan to stay there again next year for our family reunion!

Great trip - 1st time to White River
First, the cottage has two very comfortable beds and was very comfortable for my son and myself the three days we stayed there (Sept. 21st - 24th). On Saturday we went fishing with our guide, David Taylor of Sore Lip'em guide service. We had been out with David three times before but this was our first trip on the White River. My second cast three minutes on the river I caught a 20.5" brown trout, my son caught 2 - 18" brown trout and we caught 121 trout 10" - 20.5" inches in six hours. The river is crystal clear and beautiful, and the accomodations could not have been better. The owner is extremely responsive to questions and pointers. We found three very good restaurants - the 178 club, Bush's pizza and a fantastic Bar-B-Que place in Yellville - Carolyn's Ribs. The cottage has approximately 30 deer fed by the neighbor and we saw 15 at one time. Can't wait to go back, I would not change anything.

We only stayed one night, but we found the home adequate for a short stay. It was a bit smaller than we expected and had window AC units instead of central air conditioning. Overall, it was clean and pleasant. The owner was very responsive and seems very nice.

Great, little cottage in Bill Shoals
Cottage, while small on size, is big on cleanliness and coziness. Close to grocery stores (we love Harps), quick drive to Lakeview (we love its marina and beach). Deer were plentiful in the area, so be careful as you drive at night. Parking is easy and right by the cottage. We stayed when the temps were high, but the AC kept us cool. A lot of care went into this place and you will love your stay. Bonus points for Linsey offering to help our other family try and find a place last minute when their place fell thru!

Loved this little cottage as home base for two days of fly fishing on the White. Perfect location. While it's a little on the small side, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would definitely return.

Holiday visit
We have now stayed in this property twice and will continue. Lovely little cottage and everything you need. We were there during the horrible cold the whole country had and we had great heaters and a little fireplace that kept us warm. Any little issue we had was taken care of immediately. Very clean and neat and saw Cardinals and Bluejays in the back yard. Great sleeping.
