Amazing once again

Summer get away
Posted Jul. 28, 2024 on HomeAwayThis property is wonderful! It’s nestled back in a cove where you will have total quiet. The house has everything you could ask for, all the dishes and pots/pans and appliances you will need. There is a fridge and wireless speaker down on dock and even inflatables with an inflator. We barely left the lake! We can’t wait to go back!

Super getaway spot

Posted Sep. 26, 2023 on HomeAwayWe’ve been doing August family lake house vacations for six years and everyone agrees: “This was our best one yet!”
The house was amazing. Very clean and well stocked with living items, such as plates/silverware, pots and pans, propane for grille, gas for boat, kayaks and paddle boards, and wood for fire pit. Also, the second large refrigerator/freezer was convenient and extremely valuable when you’ve got food for 12 people (8 adults, 4 kids).
The location in a quiet area of the lake was great. Can't overstate the serenity of the private side & warm lake water! We spent many hours playing, fishing, floating, and relaxing on the spacious, well-furnished dock. Loved the refrigerator on the dock too!
The zero-entry beach perfect for the kids playing and getting the kayaks/paddle boards into and out of the lake and the yard excellent for our “Olympic games.” For downtime, having TVs in every room was great. Also appreciated the games and ping pong table outside.
While the listing said the Internet may not be what we’re used to in our suburban home, it was solid and supported all our devices. Only one glitch, for some reason we weren’t able to put our Sonos on network.
The best confirmation as to how much we loved this house is that we rarely left it. Other than a trip to church, pizza & grocery store, and the State Park for hike & lunch, we were very happy to enjoy our time at the house on the lake. I think it’s safe to say that we’ll be looking to go back someday!

A Wonderful Lake Life Retreat
Posted Jul. 18, 2023 on HomeAwayFrom the moment we booked this vacation home, the owner was a tremendous help with everything....and that continued through the week of our stay. The house setup is amazing for large families with open concepts both upstairs and downstairs to gather. The kitchen was fully stocked and has the largest island I have ever seen. There was plenty of everything for our group of 16. The dock was amazing....plenty of room, sun and shade, TV/music, tables/chairs for meals/games, fishing rod holders, beautiful peaceful lake with minimal boat traffic. We spent hours just floating in the lake. They also provide a wonderful "honor system" service of gas for the boat we brought with us. We were able to fill up several times right at the dock and at the end of the week we filled up the gas cans at the local gas station. The owner provided canoes, kayaks, paddleboard for guest use. We highly recommend this house and these owners to work with for your rentals in the future. This house is located on the private side of the lake which comes with so many advantages.

Amazing outdoor space!
Posted Sep. 5, 2022 on HomeAwayWe just stayed at Lake Life and the kids had a blast! The outdoor space is so great for young families. I loved the shades beach area, the huge dock area complete with a fridge and lots of shaded seating. Then the walkway to the house was super convenient going to the deck at the house and indoor patio. We really utilized all the outdoor spaces. Inside had a great flow with the open spaces. Also appreciated how all the beds had memory foam which made sleep so much more enjoyable. Keith was also super responsive to all of my many many questions! Thanks for the great stay!

Fantastic Lake Vacation
Posted May 14, 2022 on HomeAwayWonderful lakefront home with lots of things to do inside and out. We especially enjoyed our time on the dock fishing and being out on the peaceful lake. Hoping to return in the future.
