The 'Family' room was booked for 6 people, 4 children, 2 adults. Only 4 beds were available - whilst the booking was for 5 beds. Typically, we can use a further double/queen to add two kids onto one bed - but these were only singles, against what was booked.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. We found dust and dirt in various corners, and the bathroom seemed to have been hastily cleaned, with lingering odors that were quite unpleasant.
Furthermore, the addition of a trundle bed was a truly disturbing sight and smell. The mattress was disgusting both to look at and to smell. It was evident that proper hygiene standards were not maintained. Shockingly, even the manager didn't realize that the room had a trundle bed, indicating a lack of attention to detail and oversight in maintaining the room's condition.
Moreover, the customer service was severely lacking. When we approached the staff about the discrepancy in bed arrangements and the unsanitary conditions, they were unapologetic and unhelpful, offering no viable solutions or compensation for the inconvenience caused.
Overall, our experience at this hotel was highly disappointing and fell far short of our expectations. We will not be returning and cannot in good conscience recommend it to others.
